Looking forward to the next episode. Especially Tyrion's arc should get interesting. And I agree with those who want to punch Sansa in the face. Most annoying character in the early books.
My mom watches GoT too and read all the books a few years ago. So what?

I've finally got the first book of the series (had to wait the full three weeks of them; I don't blame the book store since it was beyond their control) so I can begin reading. I will continue watching the series as soon as I've finished the first book. I don't want the series spoiling my fantasy as I tend to easily get drawn in to a good story).

Sansa's attitude in the book is the only one I can't agree with, because she just lies to herself about everything.

Quite the realistic personality, don't you think?

Starting in 6 minutes, but no one is going to stream this for us non-US?
Then perhaps, someone care to do a live report of the episode?

Why don't you just read the book? a LR would destroy the enjoyment of an episode, and it will be available online within hours -_-

Cant wait till they start developing the Hound more, from looks alone he looks very similar to how id imagined.

Really good episode, I hope that wasn't all of the tournament they are going to show. Hopefully there is more next episode.

Fuck I missed it. Will HBO let you watch it on their site (assuming you have HBO)?

Haha, forgot about that. As an obviously fanatic fan of the books, I'm *REALLY* disappointed that they're taking out scenes between Sandor and Sansa as those are the only truly redeeming moments for either character. Petyr didn't need that scene to be even more creepy, although I suppose they're trying to establish later seasons.
I liked Samwell and Thorne more in the show than in the books. Still hating Joffrey, Cersei, and Pycelle appropriately enough. Hating Robert more than I did in the books too. Arya / Maisie is fucking fantastic, every scene with her is masterful. Same with Viserys / Harry.
So happy they finally showed Ghost as well.. was getting worried.
The next two episodes have loads of content that should be more "exciting" for those who are growing tired of the exposition. I still love the books 5x more than the show, but this is a good show.

Ghost was the best part of the episode. He looked so awesome.
Gregor really underwhelmed me. Hopefully it was just because he was on horseback or something, because he certainly didn't look like a Mountain That Rides.
+ Show Spoiler +Also hoping that they didn't cut the final scene of the tournament with Sandor vs Gregor. Can't imagine they did, though I did expect them to finish the tournament in one episode

I want to watch this... but HBO is stupid expensive for a college student. Guess I just have to wait to break the law when it goes up...

Kind of losing interest because its been 4 episodes and not much has happened aside from a few minor events which they havent developed or carried on. Nothing has happened at the wall, not even a hint aside from the first episode. Nothing is happening in Kings landing aside from the obvious Lannister Stark Conflict. Hope things pick up soon, because the atmosphere and the acting is great and theres Lots of great characters.

Even in the book it took a very long time to set up all the different plots, but I do believe critics who watched the series say that it picks up around the 5th and 6th episode.
