Also, does the marriage itself have any validity/significance at this point? They didn't consumate it, which would make it invalid in a lot of systems. Not that Margery gets much if the crown now goes to another underage guy... Cersei just goes back to being Queen Regent, right?

I was spoilered to Joffrey dying so I knew this was eventually going to come, but near the fucking end of the season. Not the god damn second episode, during the fucking wedding. I mean theres no way for Tyrion to be blamed for his death. Who knew he was going to be forced to be cup bearer and give him the cup that poisons him, it was Margery's cup anyway he grabbed at I believe. It's gotta be the grandma, Sansa (she finally got some gump), Tywin, or Cersei who did it.

I think it might be the grandma or that one dude (the new gay/bisexual guy who said the lanisters aren't the only ones who pay their debts). I doubt sansa no way in hell she'd have the guts for that and I don't see how she could have either xD.

They didn't consumate it, which would make it invalid in a lot of systems. Not that Margery gets much if the crown now goes to another underage guy... Cersei just goes back to being Queen Regent, right? Well then it'd be Joffrey's younger brother. But I am very interested by this event. Like I'm quite certain it was the Tyrell family who pulled this stunt, and so now killing Joffrey, all of the sudden they wont have anyone one the throne. Unless Margaery marries Joffrey's younger brother. But I feel like the Lanisters wont be so happy for that to happen again, as I'm sure Tywin might suspect them. It just seems like a big conflict will erupt because of this. And now it appears that our big game players are: Lannisters Tyrells Dorne Smaller players: Greyjoys Boltons Arryn Everyone else is pretty gimmicky and relies on magic of some kind. Now Lannisters find themselves in a tough place, the war cost a lot of money, their king is dead... Hmm, what to expect next. The Tyrells are very calculated and clearly want someone of theirs on the throne, but I feel like doing that now may make them look pretty suspicious. And also a big player is Dorne, they haven't been in battle for quite some time, and as such they have probably amassed a large army. Also I'm pretty curios about Joffrey's younger sister. Since she's the oldest of the Robert's "children", and I vividly remember the brother of the price of Dorne saying they don't discriminate against bastards, as well as they embrace being gay etc. And the wiki also says they have a pretty modern culture if that's what you want to call it. And so I think that Dorne can make a claim for the throne because the Martells have the oldest child of Robert, it's heir would be her. The Vale of Arryn is also rather interesting, they've remained neutral the entire time, and they haven't been discussed too much. But they should have something planned, because they must have had time to build up an army. And everyone wants the throne. The relationship between Bolton and the Lannisters will still be interesting, probably Bolton will still stay on the side of Lannister, simply because the Lannisters did so much. And curious to see what the Greyjoys can muster up as well, since they're such a small peace of land, however it is always discussed how good sea men they really are. Interesting interesting stuff coming up.
