I was sure that Deb was going to come to the obvious conclusion that Jordan Chase was the one killing his accomplices because he has the power and money to do so and he would want to tie up loose ends that could get him convicted. Instead she comes up with a retarded idea about a vigilante. I hate that she is right.

+ Show Spoiler + Chase seemed a bit too serious when he said Lumen is taking Dexter on a destructive path, what if we don't know the full story and Lumen turns out to be less of a victim then she really is?

There is a videotape of them raping her which Dexter saw. So I doubt it.

All of the season finales were happy endings for Dexter except for last season.

In season 1 he had to kill his own brother, which was very hard on him (especially when you look back at the start of season 2). He did get off relatively easy in season 2 and 3 (aside from some minor complications such as Doakes dying and Debra getting closer to the truth about him).

I think it subtly hints at her (and possibly all the other girls) having done something wrong as well hence why they chose them as victims (+ their looks). I doubt it's anything major though, but it's a possibility I suppose.

Also, i'm sure Liddy will get killed by the end of the season one way or another. liddy doesn't seem to be teh type to care for evidence. He's gonna use it as a leverage but against whom and what will he want.

He took it from the department, supposedly for Quinn right after he talked to Dexter. I would think it was pretty hard to miss. edit: Oh, did you mean how did he get it inside the apartment? He was watching the apartment earlier on so I guess he could wait for Lumen and Dexter to leave to see Emily Birch since it was the only time Lumen left. Liddy doesn't seem to be someone who would have troubles getting inside and setting everything up. Amazing season so far, hoping for a season ending as surprising as in S4.

There was never anything really hinted or suggested that the other victims had done anything wrong. They chose them as victims because they were so similar in looks to Emily.

I also don't think 'they' chose the victims, but Jordan did. I'm not saying the other guys are innocent or anything, but Jordan seems to be the one spearheading the group.

You are right about the leverage part. I think Liddy will ultimately try to blackmail Dexter directly., seeing as Quinn broke relations between them. But we'll see.. i don't even wanna try and predict what these brilliant screenwriters will come up with.

Just wanna add that I really really hope that the season doesn't end with Lumen killing Liddy to protect Dexter and dexter killing Lumen to uphold the code. Also... I just wanna say that that was the best episode of the season by far. There were a lot of moments that harkened back to past episodes. Dexter and Lumen hooking up after her first kill really just felt so natural. The look on her face after she killed the banker.... It was a look of unbridled exhilaration. And when Dexter felt her chest, her heart beating it reminded me of Dexter as a teen teetering over the edge of the building, feeling his chest, his own heart beating, actually feeling alive for once. And for him to actually share that moment with another human being....For the first time in his life. That's quite special. The energy, the electricity was just palpable in those last few scenes.

There was something in the air, not love, not attachment, but a palpable... connection.
