"I don't even want to be here"? What the fuck is that dialogue for Dexter's character? He's all broken up about Zack and Vogel being killed by Saxon, and then he decides to just walk away and let Deb take care of him? That scene drove me crazy to no end. | ||

Maybe that's just me but if I begin a movie, no matter how shitty it is once I'm at least 30min in, I'll watch to the end maybe while discussing and checking my phone. May be the reason while I keep watching horror movies, they always fucking suck but for some reasons I always watch them to the end. Well obviously for series if you think S01E01 is bad you probably won't watch up to S05. But for something like Dexter where some seasons were good... yeah kinda want to know the ending. | ||

Anyway, this season is a real piece of shit after the 3 first episodes. Changing Harrison's actor should had been a big Red Flag. Hannah who had near divine superpowers is the most worthless sidekick ever. Dexter can kill the fucking idiot Saxxon in his house, wtf, he can just say it's self-defense. Major rage inducing stuff... One more to see how they complete the butchering. | ||

In my opinion the plot is really written badly. For example vogel should have been introduced 2-3 seasons before to make her really matter to Dexter, maybe in a small side story where they meet and show how she really becomes an important part of his life. I mean it is said that she should be/act like a mother to Dexter, but there is no longer connection or history between them. She is introduced like deus ex machina, out of the box and now she should be an integral part of his life ? The whole Yvonne storyline is also a nice idea in general for Dexter to find a soul mate to find redemption and a way to get rid of his "dark passenger" but the way it is written is just to hush hush. Also this boy who was killed (I already forgot the name) was even thought to be Dexters apprentice or successor by some, just to get killed of and serve no real purpose then to make Dexter more aware that the Brain surgeon is no nice guy and that Dexter should get rid of it. The other side stories like Masukas daughter are also so out of the box wtf like ... And I really agree with HP on the hospital thing, I thought the exact same thing and it was so lame ... I mean I knew that this was gonna happen when they showed him near the treadmill for the first time and her saying oh get away from that and acting all stressed so she couldn't look after the boy. It is really bad to have the Breaking Bad Show finale and the Dexter finale at the same time, because it makes you realize how bad and worse the last Dexter seasons actually got and especially the finale. | ||

It's just a weird season. Dexter is protecting the lives of all the characters I don't like (Hannah included, sorry), and the only new character I do like (Deb's boss) is apparently his primary antagonist in the series finale. | ||

Debra suddenly realizes how awesome Quin is (who is now an awesome cop with no partying/drug issues or dirty cop business) - she broke up with him, remember? How convenient, given she needs someone stable to lean on with Dexter leaving and all....and then the ending...everything so full of BS. This show...well I watched Breaking Bad right after it, so I'm fine. | ||
