Rather would've had Dexter gone completely of the rails for whatever reason then this crap. Hanna being back just... sucks beyond words. Setting up a happy ending i bet, Harrison and Hanna ride of in the sunset after Deb has commited suicide or something.

I want Dexter to take Hannah and leave everything, Deb is becoming too much of a liability i don't know why writers make deb that much "must have" character for Dexter just for the sake of keep the drama going. It just feels unreal, but this is Dexter, i guess we left realism long ago. They extended the show too much btw, this story could become legend if it ended in like 5 seasons and wrtiers would actually try to make something out of it...

last Dexter's epìsode I found myself fast fowarding most of the scenes, to me is a combination of this show decline and breaking bad come back.
kind of sad because I used to love this show but went so downhill to me... :/

Actually, last episode I felt they were finally moving in the right direction again. Focusing on shit that was relevant to Dexter, rather than the retarded sergeant shit that nobody cares about (because everybody is secretly hoping Quinn will die), Batista and Jamie bullshit that nobody cares about (because Jamie has only one camera angle that matters and it doesn't include her face) or random serial killer X that nobody cares about (because we already have Dexter the Mega Boss serial killer). Only real sidetrack last episode was Masuka's daughter, but Masuka is awesome, so it's allowed (oh.. and bOObs)

ugh... just catching up on season 8, i'm on episode 4 right now

i've always given dexter a pass on its imperfections, but this season just seems like a self-involved circle jerk over how it's going to end, just taking complete advantage of people's interest in the conclusion, which is not how narrative should ever work. the female shrink character is a comically exaggerated manipulator in the style of a superhero villain, there's nothing interesting or relateable about her. in fact i think my problem is there's nothing relateable about anyone anymore. this show used to have commentary about human relationships that actually spoke to me, despite the fact that it was framed through such a bizarre lead character. but now it's just a race to the finish, it's become the serial killer soap opera. deb has just been crying and moping and yelling nonstop since she found out about dexter and it's gotten old. and it's getting harder and harder for me to buy that not a single person actually suspects dexter at this point
