So true.. I remember when a episode of Dexter would end and I would be dying to see the next one and the week was brutal to wait.. Now it's almost to the point of "Oh god it's Sunday.. Have to watch Dexter" And I can't not watch I've invedted so much time into this series I have to see how it ends.. But it's really starting to hurt watching it 
I hate coming into a shows thread and bitching about it like this... But damn I've been watching since the start it's just painful how far it's fallen T.T

Yep, no truer words have been spoken. I really haven't been that infested after S4. It dropped so much. To me S2 was where it peaked, S4 gave hope but then there was no follow through.

Didn´t like the car scene.. Normally Dexter has no problems getting himself out of shitty situations but all of a sudden he´s doomed to his fate. But wait.. Deb suddenly realizes killing Dexter wasn´t what she wanted and saves Dexter because he is suddenly unable to do so himself. Felt really cheesy to me.
I get that impulsive actions fit Debra´s character but when you throw a car into a lake and you get saved by a fisherman you don´t all of a sudden collect your thoughts and decide you don´t want your brother to die. I doubt she would even have the strength.

I thought about that too but I think it will have a "super hero" ending. Dexter after all is a kind of a super hero. The show must end in one of Dexter's kill rooms doing what he does best "taking out the trash". He will take a blood sample then put on his usual dexter stare face and boom the credits roll. xD
