The car shown at the shop (destroyed) is a BMW E36 cabrio. :p Either they fucked up or ALL STAGED OMFG! Nah I'd go with they fucked up... little mistake by them :p

This episode was pretty boring, I don´t like how easily they can explain away how Dexter is not the butcher. Wouldn't it be fucking awesome if Dexter was convicted in the finale. Then the episodes ends with him in prison, meeting Michael Schofield. Season eight go go go.

The guy will obviously want to avenge himself alone and then die for his trouble. This ending was pretty bad. Dexter running after the guy who killed his mother just after his release while being suspected by his captain is fucking retarded. What did he expect? That the police wouldn't keep track of a murderer on parole? Or that the boat excuse would be enough to keep Laguerta from getting even more suspicious when said murderer disappears unexpectedly?

Dexter answered, "My sister's fine." and the mechanic's answer was something along the lines of, "Oh? Well the car's busted." or some crap. Would make sense for a BMW though I guess, haha. Still, I'm pretty sure he'd assumed Debra.

The guy just smiles at Dexter's response and says "Can't say the same thing about this poor baby."

Distraction/noise for his escape? Anyway, I wonder if Matthews was in on LaGuerta's plan and talked to Dexter to relieve him saying that Maria is off his back, so that Dexter would bite the bait. Either way, I think it is unfair to say that show is getting stupid because Dexter is getting careless. It makes sense with all the shit he is going through right now. Spoiler about the next weeks preview at the end of the episode: + Show Spoiler + What do you guys think about seeing Doakes again? He really was a good character, I still remember their little duel with Dexter at the docks. Still, it's a weird line for a hallucination to say "surprise motherfucker." Let's see where they will go with it. Edit: Is it Arlene's voice that says the first sentence on next week's preview? "My, how you must have troubles sleeping at night."

I really liked the episode though. That was like some Greek tragedy with Dexter turning in his one true love.
