The whole "Laguerta catching onto Dexter's shenanigans" thing better be going somewhere.
That's not such a bad thing. Not everyone enjoys a show that follows a formula. They tend to get boring.

Let's also remember Dexter may be going to avenge Isaak. I think I heard something in the likes of this when the episode is about to end and he dumps Isaak in the sea. Dexter going to avenge him will take him to the club guy and cross Quinn and Dex yet again. Doesn't sound so boring or bad imo.

hannah didn't seem to be too happy about dexter enjoying 'not being in control'. maybe she'll break up with him? that would be a better solution than the obvious 'dexters GF dies' in my opinion.

Man am I the only one who still doesn't trust Hanna and isn't the all lover for Dexter the way he wants it to be. Major twist coming at the end I hope cuz I feel their love plot is going no where. Same formula every season for Dexter having a love partner that's knows his secret.
Also the whole Debra being in love with Dexter didn't go anywhere but freak people out with suspense. Lazy writing if you ask me...They should of ended Dexter a few seasons ago. This new season just became a total wreck and I hope season 8 will be the last.
One of the most hated scenes from this season is Dexter telling Hanna his two biggest fears. Made me dislike Dexter more in this season....too bad I guess.

Man I still think one of the biggest mistakes about Dexter was killing Doakes. He was by far one of my favorite side characters. He was the only one who read right through Dexter. Takes someone special to do that.

They should bring him back somehow.
Like Laguerta's version of Dexter's dad as she tumbles down the road of insanity chasing down Doake's killer.

According to IMBD Erik King, the actor that played Sgt.Doakes, is in the casting crew for the season finale. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2235994/
Surprise, motherfucker indeed.

im sure doakes is in the finale, but not in a living form
whether it be a flashback, or just as a spirit/conscience like harry
|
oh man! if Doakes is alive in the season finale... That would be the ultimate change up. 4 seasons later hahaha.

I'm not sure I really like people saying "Oh give me a main antagonist!" When in reality, they fail to see the antagonist right in front of them. The antagonist in this season is the idea of Love. It's not one person per say, but when does love fail to intertwine and make one person's life extremely complicated. Between Hannah, Deb, Isaac, and then the side plots of Quinn's love for the stripper, Angel's failure not to impulsively love things, and La Guerta's love for Doakes (which is turning into something next season without a doubt). Dexter's life in reality is falling apart while also seemingly coming together. And then you throw in the dose of real life with the pyro killer. It's like despite love antagonizing every single of Dexter's actions, a real killer comes in an jacks it up.
I don't know, the concept of love is a big enough idea to have it as the main antagonist, and while all be it, it's a different approach than the other seasons, it just seems like it's okay because the entire show is about a guy, who an inability to fully love, and that's a concept they've been playing around with the entire series.

I Started seeing this serie online, and I love it, it's really cool the idea beyond Dexter.

The Doakes we all know and love is dead. The Doakes that was born in fire and brimstone is alive and coming back with a vengeance.
When the case is solved, Doakes will be proven to be behind the fire murders. Debra will sneak in some blood slides, connect Doakes to the fire in the Church. Everyone will be convinced that Doakes really was the Bayharbor Butcher.
The end, motherfucker.
