For all we know she was suffering from cancer and she knew a way out. I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe he would bang her but i just don't see him having any kind of relationship with her if she's just a 'regular' serial killer who doesn't follow any code.

I think getting a little bit primal would be the natural course of events, in that case. ''do what you have to do''.

He's not a serial killer that kills bad people... he's turning into just a serial killer. He kills because he has to. Killing bad people, was just an idea that Harry added to the code in order to salvage whatever he could out of terrible situation.

Its bad acting generally and unconvincing doubly since hes so ordinarily subdued. Add onto some awkward lines, poor blocking, and weird behaviour "so do you live alone?!?! did you always?!?!?! what happened to your husband!?!??! we can talk about it if you want, my wife died too?!?!?!?" it was just...eh. I'm skeptical. The plots good they just need to execute way better. The way I see it, the "bad acting" is actually good acting. I mean, emotional topics aren't really Dexter's forte. It's probably intentionally awkward.

When i saw he was going to kill her, i was like "ohhh you tricked me with that fucking nonsense". Then all went nuts and suddenly Dexter is some kind of horny guy. I think it's because she reminds him of Rita, though his conscious mind has yet to realize it.

She costs too much for that little screentime ![]() Imdb gives away in how many episodes she will star and what will be the last one, if there is one; have in mind that Dexter season have 12 episodes and look at the name of the last one (don't look if you don't want to get spoiled): http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2088803/filmoseries#tt0773262 + Show Spoiler + Either he kills her on the last episode, or she's in the next season. Judging by the names of the episodes, they'll fall madly in love and she'll steer him away from his Dark Passanger. Judging from the name of the 11th episode, they might have a "falling out". Edit: + Show Spoiler [not related to the previous spoiler] + Also, there's no way he'll end up with Deb (well, it's obvious now; or is it?), because they were married in real life for like 3 years and then divorced. Especially since he's the executive producer now. If they stayed married, it might have happened, but this way, no.

She might have done that to "end her suffering", because the handyman said that she had to bathe and take care of her, like her illness progressed significantly, if you ever saw it in real, it's not a human way of "living". (my grandma had advanced Parkinsons by the end of her life, it was gruesome) And I feel like Dexter maybe wouldn't have a really too big problem with it (also seeing how he likes her). She was apparently sexually abused while in juvie, maybe the guy who did it did it to other girls too and drove them to suicide or something, so that might be an excuse for that. Excuses can be made for everything except that murder with the guy from prison (can't remember the name).
