You probably wont encounter any spoilers either, if you are lucky. Or maybe just simply watch the show at her house?
It's pretty easy not to have any spoilers. You're just asking to be spoiled if you say, visit this thread when you haven't seen any of the episodes, spoiler tags or no spoiler tags.

I'd like to see if the writers have the balls to end the season any differently. The seasons are getting predictably repeptitive. Someone finds out Dexter's secret, his brother(s1), his mistress(s2), or Miguel(s3), Dexter has fun with them and thinks he can not live alone. Something goes wrong and Dexter ends up killing them on the last episode (2nd to last for this season). Meanwhile, Deb falls for a guy, ice truck killer (s1), the FBI guy (s2), Anton (s3), and it ends up not working out. The final episode is usually completely satisfying to the viewer, and there are no cliffhangers. The next season starts out the same, someone dies, and Dexter makes a blunder that puts him in a situation where people may find out his secret.

I kind of like what they've done even though they've done it more than once.
Nothings like a really good season finale.+ Show Spoiler +I remember the season 2 finale when he followed her to paris, killed the bitch, and did some badass analogy about beeing an idea brought to life and all that, and I was just getting shivers

Word. well at least this season didn't end with miguel dying, so i guess its different from s2.

I have a feeling the next episode's going to be epic and something completely unexpected's going to happen and that's why Miguel already died in the last episode.

I mean, they've already shown us they love huge awesome cliffhangers, season 1 ep 11 finished with Rudy doing his awesome steely stare on the boat with Deb, season 2 ep 11 with Lila finding the cabin.
The only reason I can see for them to not have any cliffhanger at all this season is because they've got something special planned for the last episode.

Maybe the Skinner will kill Dexter, and next season it'll be called George.

Surprisingly emotional season finale
|
Yeah, quite emotional. "The rabbit runs over the log..."
|
the only way for dexter [the show] to make up for dexter [the person] 's emotions, is if next season, two things happen:
1) His emotions become unstable, very angry and irrational, like most sociopaths
2) He starts going above and beyond what he use to in terms of murders, to wet his growing appetite. Torture? Slow deaths? Kill some innocents? Time will tell, but he needs to evolve as a killer. They keep going on about how hes playing faster with the code, but theres nothing that truly changes him in a fundamental way.

Ending was okish. Real ending was episode 11 anyway.

I noticed they focused on the dripping blood of dexters hand in the end. If you look at this and then remember that Dexter got cut in his hand at the Skinner scene might there be a connection somewhat? There would be blood from Dexter left at the scene, but I don't know what consequences this could trigger. Obviously it would be impossible for Dexter to avoid it or have any reasonable explanation, but meh maybe they just added it as a mindfuck to spice things up.

Or maybe now people will think Rita is in her period o.o

or maybe it's just an artistic expression that blood will continue to flow around this fellow...
All in all I think that this season was great, and it showed a little more Dexter as a person. Loved the confrontation with Miguel on the roof.
Miguel: You think this is funny? Dexter: Not at all. They said that stain would come out!

Thanks for the recommendation! I downloaded the first two seasons and am really digging the show. I'm only up to the 5th episode of season 1 but this is one of the best shows I've seen.
