Wow lol, you can't skip season 1 and 2. Why don't you sign up for the free trial of netflix? You can watch season 1-3 on netflix during the trial, or pay something like 8$ for one month and you can watch it all streaming on their site (you can in the trial too).

It's definitely worth it imo.

The idea of slowly revealing Dexter's life is brilliant with these small hints.. and then the end of episode 10 in season 1 was brilliantly done, a little (understatement :D) gruesome, but brilliant.

Personally, I am a bit disappointed by the trailer because I fear that there will be a lot of comedy/soap opera scenes concerning Dexters newborn son as a regular comic relief in an otherwise rather dark scenario - even though the series always had its light moments. It is nice to see Dexters character evolve again but we already had the tripping serial killer before.

Lets just hope that Trinity will make up for it and bring back the theme of suspense and thrill like the first two seasons did.

Thanks for asking, and no - its in fact a very good show, rated above 9 on imdb and my personal favourite.

I loved season 1 of this show but after that it started feeling more and more like a generic hollywood production. It became very distasteful. Does anyone know if the books follow along similar story lines as the second/third/fourth seasons?
