No cliffhanger, total satisfaction, love it love it. Straight to the goal. I really love how the upcoming things are not trivial. Deb now starts to dig up the past also. Laguerta will have a strange situation to figure out. Probably will think that Miguel knows she knows and is running away. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + it ends with dexter standing at the wedding, with that classic grin on his face. perfect setup for next season. I really hope it doesn't end in misery or with everyone suspecting him... :| | ||

Didn't anyone else think it was weird how Dexter was tailing Miguel in his car (a car that Miguel knows well) and Miguel never noticed? Sure, he was hiding in the shadows at Laguerta's house, but Miguel was standing like 10m away. And where was Laguerta when Dexter killed Miguel? It looked like Dexter killed him in Laguerta's house, so he must've been very sure Laguerta wouldn't suddenly turn up. If he tipped her off, how would he explain how he knew Miguel was after her and how would he explain Miguel's sudden disappearance? overall I thought it was a little less epic than I'd hoped compared to the second last episodes of the other two seasons, but it was still damn good. Deb digging into Harry's past seems to be the start to the storyline of season 4. | ||

For your second question though, Dexter called Laguerta and told her to meet him somewhere to discuss Miguel (Miguel hears his message on her answering machine). That's why he knew she wouldn't be home. I think. | ||

I think. + Show Spoiler + Yeah, but he didn't know exactly when Miguel would turn up and he didn't know if Laguerta would go straight back home if she didn't find him where he said they'd meet. He had to wait for Miguel, wait for him to wake up, have his final talk with him, kill him, then clean that whole mess up and I don't believe he would've done all that in Laguerta's house (he could've taken him somewhere else as well) if there was any chance she'd come back. | ||
