The ENTIRE point of the Sage was that Naruto and Sasuke always fought during all their reincarnated lives because one was always chosen as THE successor to the detriment of the other and teamwork would bring them and everyone together and blah blah friendship and stuff. But now Sasuke has seemingly learned NOTHING from the Sage OR seeing Madara and Hashirama have the exact same conflict hes currently having with Naruto. Even the Sage said that splitting powers for his kids to share did nothing...which sounds kind of horrifying since at the moment NOTHING will end this endless conflict EVER. No matter who wins if Sasuke wasn't convinced to stop being an asshole now than none of his next lives will either....and the battle between Indra and Hashura will continue FOREVER! If the entire Battle with Madara/etc ended before Naruto and Sasuke met the Sage (Like maybe after Sage-Obito was defeated) when it was implied Sasuke had anterior motives that would be one thing...but now the manga is contorting and contradicting its own messages to set up the final rematch between Naruto and Sasuke...which i SHOULD be excited for but now....urgh Also felt like a false finish line. lol wheres this weeks Once Piece?....*goes off to be happy Edit: At the very least...Sasuke's plan is less dumb and makes more sense than Infinite Tysukiomi...but now it just reminds me of Code Geass, something that's actually miles beter than this.. | ||

Not joking the best result of this would be for them to fight, sasuke to win or lose, doesn't matter which tbh. Long story short one or the other is standing over the other, who is defeated and is talking. Either Sasuke about to get his way and end it or Naruto trying to convince Sasuke he's a dumb fuck. But anyway the best thing that could happen here is while this goes on, Orochimaru pops out of the fucking ground and devours Sasukes soul and finally gets his imba Uchiha body and then runs away asaply to start a new arc. Orochimaru becomes relevant again and the worst character in the series dies & we actually have a legit creepy ass villain who is beyond redemption considering he has murdered countless people in horrifying ways like human experiments. | ||

The Bad: Character flip-flop. How many times has Sasuke switched sides now? I hope Naruto kills him. Fuck the Uchiha. The rivalry ends here. After the absolute shitstorm the Uchiha caused the entire world they ALL deserve to be exterminated forever. Genocide is the only option. | ||

See, Naruto's plan is incredibly idealistic, because it hopes that no one who is powerful and evil will ever come into power, because then the system becomes potentially fucked again. Conflict is natural, so either Naruto believes in good will or Sasuke hits down anything that could cause conflict. Naruto has always been really lucky in that most of his ideals have payed off (due to plot) but in story context Sasuke has no reason to believe that peace is going to last that long. Now Sasuke's plan is filled with problems, but no more than Naruto's, so whatever. People claiming that Sasuke is being dumb or flipped characters probably just have trouble seeing his character arcs. | ||

Naruto doesn't need Sasuke to break the Tsukuyomi, the sage said all they needed was Naruto since he has all the chakras inside his body at the moment, he just needed to do the undo the root seals or w/e. He can kill Sasuke and nothing meaningful will be impacted other than the last Uchiha dying. | ||

The real real real real final boss is Sasuke. Now if all this fate crap and super-ten-tails nuke and creator of all chakra and dimension traveling UBER being Kaguya would not have happened, we could have had a conflict of just Sasuke doing his "better world" agenda. It would have just been a conflict between actual living people without zombies or gods. Sasuke may have a point, but he could just talk it out with Naruto and Kakashi(nobody cares about Sakura's opinion). But no, Sasuke has to go full Dirty Harry on his allies. Does he know that Dirty Harry killed criminals, not cops? | ||
