as for how madara is defeated I don't think kishi likes using talk no jutsu to decide fights, just to build characters. f.e naruto defeated pain technically.

I think naruto and sasuke might get 1 final big powerup to represent the generation surpassing the last, and maybe fight it out then to represent history repeating itself.

kishi could troll pairings hard but its kinda awkward right now as karin and sakura both want to bang sasuke and would prefer to "friend" naruto and rock lee +naruto like sakura and then basically nobody loves hinata LOL

Isn´t that what makes reading interesting ? When things don´t turn out as expected. And that is quite hard in a weekly Manga that so many people read and think about. I don´t get it why some people seem so disappointed. Just because it wasn´t predictable ? And if it would have been predictable even more people would be disappointed.
I have absolutely no clue who is standing in front of Sasuke, and how Naruto will get safed (maybe with the Ginkaku/Kinkaku chakra) and that is exactly what i like about this chapter. Can´t await next week !

a couple of years back when they had an anime fair and had naruto in it(anime expo?), supposedly, the majority of the crowd wanted Hinata to win which was why the production was doing all those Hinata fanservice episodes(those non-canon episodes had a lot of Hinata lol). I don't if it's true but that's what I heard.
