Or woodclone, or he'll transform into a bunch of crows. Hell, he could even Izanagi if all else fails. He's clearly not going to die, just like Naruto. I hope Kishi doesn't troll and switch to Obito/Minato next week.

Pretty sure that was one of the stupid eye hax jutsus, I don't remember the name of it, it's one that Sasuke used to help Naruto defeat Obito.
So... Lemme get this straight. Madara has max level Sharingan hacks, max level Rinnegan hacks, Hashirama cells for fast regen + bijuu control and essentially a body that will age slowly, and just now had the statue absorb all the beasts. And the only people left who could POSSIBLY beat him are Sasuke (who just got shanked with his own sword) and Naruto, who is on death's door and just lost his half of the Kyuubi (his dad still has the other half).
I'm guessing someone (probably Naruto's dad) heals him with the sacrificial jutsu and transfers the dark half of the Kyuubi into Naruto as Madara activates the Infinite Tsukiyomi. We then have to deal with ~200 chapters of Naruto "hacking the Matrix" and freeing everyone to get "the power of friendship" needed to beat Madara (who is stuck maintaining the Tsikiyomi in his ultimate guard thing).
Infinite Tsukiyomi starts everyone gets into despair and suddenly Itachi appears and shows everyone "every jutsu has a counter". He proceeds to throw 3 kunais into the moon, than 2 kunais into Madara's eyes, tells his little brother this is "how it's done". And dissapears.

I was under the impression all the bijjuu(or their jinchuriki) got at least a little bit of screentime between then and the ultimate showdown arc began, but...now I'm thinking that screentime might've happened in a flashback.
It was Fu's and Han's (I believe 5 and 7).
Shukaku 3rd The two tails (by hidan and kakuzu 4th somewhere in here the 3 tails and 4 tails by tobi/diedara and itachi/kisame the slug is captured by I think pain

Yugito (Cat 2 tails) was captured in the anime in a brief fight scene in a sewer somewhere where she unleashes it after being cornered by I think Kakuzu and Hidan.
3 Tails is the turtle that doesn't have a jinchuuriki who was living under a lake. in the anime they find it as part of some weird side story where kabuto is trying to control this crystal girl or something. Obito arrives at the end after Sakura + seal team fail to hold it and he just takes it.
4 tails was the taller old guy and he got defeated by Kisame in a brief fight in the anime as well.
5 tails is the super tall guy completely covered up. I don't think he ever gets screen time in the anime nor the manga, he just is shown as one of the 7 jinchuuriki or whatever in the war arc.
6 tails was introduced in the anime/(movie?) as well. it's a slug and there's a guy who's like a wandering hermit who wears an open chested robe and blows on a pipe to create bubble jutsu. He isn't captured in the anime portion but he's at least introduced and he helps one of the side characters for a while before he eventually wanders off (to be captured by an unknown akatsuki member)
7 tails is a beetle and also never shown in anime or manga.
8 tails is obviously bee-sama and the oxtopus
9 tails is naruto and demon fox.
I think that it is shown somewhere (some flashback maybe) that 6 tails (this bijuu always cracks me up btw) is captured by Pain.
Edit: "Let me give you a jutsu", meh.
In the anime it was Shown briefly in the last filler episode 151 right before Pain invaded Konoha.
in Episode 324 they released the full fight.
so... the 2 main stars of the manga are on the verge of death, really excited for next weeks chapter.

I thought it was common knowledge that both in Naruto and Bleach, a character getting stabbed in a cliffhanger had nothing to do with the predicament of said character. Naruto because there's always the "it was an illusion/clone" option and Bleach because... Well in bleach getting stabbed through the chest or cut in half is just no biggie.

Hmm... I thought it was a combination of Shinra Tensei and Bansho Ten'in. Pain was only be able to use either of them every 5 seconds but Madara don't give no damn about the rules. If it's possible to use them together you could hold somebody still in mid-air like that.

or maybe with complete mastery of the rinnegan the abilities evolve and allow some sort of limited telekinesis
