Yeah, I was about to say the same thing, but then I was all like "After a freaking bijuudama nuke they ain't gonna find any bodies..."

I feel like Kishimoto had a chance to take the plot in a really cool direction and just blew it. How are we supposed to believe that Madara is better off now that he's in a living body? He's vastly outnumbered and now has finite chakra and a less durable body. Not only is he fighting his only equal in the form of Hashirama, but the entire ninja alliance plus the tailed beasts. I just don't see how he's getting out of this in a manner that doesn't seem completely ridiculous.
I understand you need a living body to be a jinchuriki, but as was mentioned by others as well as himself, the edo tensei body is superior in battle. But somehow he was able to break out of the same kind of seal that was holding the 10 tails?
That said, I'm kinda sad that this is looking like the end for Obito. I was really hoping for a redemption arc from him (as played out as it is among Naruto villians) and thought he and Kakashi could have used more screen time together. I thought they had an interesting dynamic that could have seen more exploration, but meh I guess we need to make room for more monologues about Naruto.
Regardless, I feel like the pacing has just been so damaged at this point that I seriously doubt the end of this arc will be able to redeem the rest of it.

So guys, why didn't Kakashi kamui the fuck out of Zetsu?
|
Kishimoto is lost in a genjutsu where he has to draw a ninja war for the rest of his life.
|
Doesn't Madara still have Hashirama's DNA smooshed into him?
|
Madara has been hyped for so long, the next part of this arc can only disappoint.

guys, keep in mind that Madara was supposedly changed to be greater than his prime. That's what Kabuto told him way back. I'm not sure how it works if he's revived but I can only figure he's a lot stronger than when he fought Hashirama at his prime. Hashirama also was panting while Madara was completely calm and collected. He wasn't even sweating so seems like he gave Hashi quite the workout before getting revived. I also am not sure how he'll be even try to win but if there's anything we've learned from the manga till now, don't underestimate Madara (and most other characters)!

madara just wants to be able to feel the skin of a woman one last time

I've just read my first manga issue, a Naruto one. I read the issue that corresponds to the episode that just aired. The T.V. one is so much more coherent, organized, visually superior, etc.
Is this generally true for all mangas? I read the manga issue today because I couldn't wait to see what happens. Now after reading this issue, I don't really feel like it would be worthwhile.

I'm not keeping up to date with the anime but I think they just finished the whole Sasuke+Itachi vs Kabuto arc, right? I think you should read a lot more manga then compare it to the anime. The anime wasn't bad when I was watching it but I think the manga is superior in a lot of respects (especially when it comes to fillers ><; )

Yes, Sasuke+Itachi just released the reanimation jutsu. Some fillers are interesting. If I feel like skipping them, I just google to see which ones are fillers and skip over them.

I mean, I remember this one filler where Naruto completely forget to use rasengan for x episodes until the very end. I used to enjoy some of them but they seem over the top at times when compared to non-fillers(raising the dead shinobi is an example) and their pacing was always too slow for me so I stopped watching way back lol

Yes I mean chapters, excuse my ignorance.
The thing about a filler is that if you know it's a filler than you know you can skip it with no consequences. I just find the back stories of some of these characters fascinating.

filler can be okay, but Naruto had way to many (like one whole year of fillers) so I stoped watching it. I find overall that the original version (the one that came first) is in general better when it come to manga and anime.

Well of course ideally we'd be able to read and listen to the thing in Japanese. Unfortunately even after one semester of learning Japanese in university, I still suck at it.

Anime and manga are different, but in my opinion you can't say one is just better than the other. While for example I miss the music in those animes that have good music, I much prefer manga for various other reasons. Everything else is just, like, your opinion man.

yes of course, you can skip them. I wasn't reading the manga at the time so waiting x weeks to finally see the story progress was a pain lol. Having said that, I do enjoy anime for the music and really good voice acting.

I usually prefer manga for some of the following reasons (not an exhaustive list).
- Better pace (there's no 3 minute sequences of people staring at eachother when you read manga)
- No censorship that plagues anime adaptations
- Straight from the source, no anime production filter
- Don't have to suffer bad animation (which is the case in action scenes)
- Details (depends on who's doing the drawing; Kubo draws none and Miura does a crapload)
- Stuff that works better in the manga format then in an anime (often some forms of humour)
