Regardless, Kushina herself said (500 or 501), that the remaining Uzumaki were scattered across the world after the destruction of their village (e.g. Pain). It doesn't seem too far of a stretch that one of them may be bitter towards the leaf for allowing their village to be destroyed and gave some intel to Orochimaru.

In any event, does anyone else think that this is starting to sound like a certain video game? A young hero (Naruto), empowered by mystical forces (Nine-Tails), with a useless sprite (Hinata/Sakura), needs to stop a misguided kid (Obito) who is under the influence of a terrible evil (Madara), from using the moon to "destroy" the world (Tsukiyomi), by calling upon the kid's old familial friends who refused to play with them any longer (the kage). Oh and only one mask (reaper) actually matters, the rest just make the plot seem cooler, and a mysterious man, who seems to be secretly pulling the strings everywhere, knows just about everything but only helps in the most cryptic and roundabout ways (Orochimaru).
Madara even sounds like Majora.

also Oro was able to figure out most of whats on the Uchihas secret stone without even being able to read it, figuring out about the mask is alot easier
Oro has been pulling out secrets he shouldnt possibly be able to know for ages now like being able to use the Edo tensei when it comes to Jutsu theres simnply noone who comes close to the knowledge he holds

One thing i've been thinkinf about is that naruto has the kyuubi's yang (light) chakra, and the yin (dark) chakra was sealed away.
I wonder now that the yin chakra is released will it go back to naruto for a powerup, or even if it will have an effect on the kyuubi's personality, being that it's yin chakra. I don't know if in japanese culture that yang/yin are seen as good/evil respectively. If yin is seen as "evil" it might have an adverse effect on the kyuubi's personality and turn him back into evil angry emo fox dude.

4th made it, if i remember correctly ( maybe 2nd ? ). 4th was first to use it, sealing himself and half of the kyuubi. 3rd learned it from the 4th, used it on orochis arms, as well as the 1st and 2nd. should be no more than that unless im mistaken ?

I don't think that's really true, because Minato was the one that studied Sealing techniques under the Uzumaki Clan. So if he was the one that indeed created the shiki fujin technique than it wouldn't weird if the clan created masks after it?
(Personally I think it's stupid anyway that there is as mask collection which allowed Oro to summon the shinigami without handsigns but w/e.)

Why are people complaining so much about this chapter?
It's been foreshadowed for awhile now that this scroll was going to bring back the 4 hokages, people are simply complaining because the exact details of how they were gonna get the spirits out of the seal weren't released ahead of time. He can't foreshadow everything guys, gotta let him make up story at some points and just live with it.

Was implied they were going to meet the ones who knew everything. Sasuke wanted to know more about konoha, who else better to get information from?

Even if he didn't give the order, he didn't warn the Uchiha about what was going on either. Or if he didn't know, then he doesn't have the full story at which point he's useless. It would mean the council of elders are the real power in Konoha, and so raising hokages is rather useless and just some flashy drama by Kishi. I'm so confused

yeah pretty sure it was hinted that it was behind the hokages back and danzo basicly blackmailed itachi.
Sasuke wants to know wether it was an order by the hokage / the village or wether it was a rouge action from Danzo alone because if he'd findnd out that people like hokage / the village were part of it he'd be dead set on destroying the village.
The way it is, idk. I mean, still has to be sasuke going emo for some reason so that the last chapter isn't just "oh that's how it was, gg I'll leave you alone and we all hold hands"

Well, Sasuke has to somehow forgive Konoha. Because I can't see the manga ending without a Naruto/Sasuke friendship restored ( or at least them being allied ).
