As shown by various other Doijutsu users, even if the original eyes are removed/destroyed, when the person is resurrected by Edo Tensai, their ENTIRE body is recovered, which makes sense, because it is essentially a cloning process with immortality built in. Thus, even if the eyes need to recharge for 10 years to use that Genjutsu again, I could foreseeable see how a resurrected Shishui could use it instantly without recharging since its a new set of Shinshui eyes that still posess the same power since it should be an exact replica.

It also doesn't explain whatsoever how the personalities are intact and why he can't make multiple copies of one ninja, AKA ten Itachis instead of just one.

I hope that isn't how Edo Tensei actually works.

In the example of the First and Second Hokage, they clearly had souls that could be sealed away, and it's implied (I think, maybe it's explicit) that by sealing their souls away, they can't be resurrected anymore.

I think what happens is that Edo Tensei recreates the body with cloning and then calls the soul from the afterlife to inhabit the cloned body, granting the memory, abilities, etc.

Thus, he can't make multiple copies of the same person, but I don't really see why he couldn't resummon the same person, so long as the soul isn't sealed away or something.
