man that flashback was bad, i really feel it detracted from the manga in every way i can think of
-sasuke and naruto already have plenty of backstory
-naruto could already not like the cool kid on whats been, but is he supposed to be the ONLY person of any interest from back then? why did it have to be a duel between them? couldnt naruto have seen him own and try to top it, failing miserably? possbily even recognise the whole sasukes eyes thing from more of a distance and try to show him up with more positive emotion
i did like the way he denied the 9 tails though

I am such a sucker for the nine tail's chapters. I think the 9-tails is one of the most interesting characters in the whole thing.

Wow I stopped reading manga after pain was killed off but I just caught up and I must say that this whole "war" arc thing is turning out to be very dissapointing

Well every time a chapter is released there are 20 people posting about how much it sucks. That adds up quite fast.

Agreed. He is like a latent super power that Naruto can talk to. The fox has had a huuuuge amount of characterization and now even has the potential to be as cool as killer bee's tailed demon. This was the best chapter in a while, even though the latest Naruto power up chapters were pretty cool too. We gotta bask in the glory that is the new badass Naruto before he actually fights, or else everything will be over too quickly.

Naruto chapters tend to be flashback and show what happened in the past, talk about what that ment, end of chapter atm :-/

The flashback aside, his interaction from the fox was a definite plus, their "relationship" seems to be the odd-one out compared to the rest of the jinchuuriki. I'd be pretty sick if Naruto and the fox got along near the end and he was Hokage with the Fox working together with him. Honestly what the hell does the fox care if its freed all it does is go crazy and wreck things, might as well wreck things with a purpose and have some fun maybe.
(UN)FORTUNATELY in order for this manga to have kind of closure SOMEONE HAS TO DIE. It has been too long since someone has died.

the author clearly has no idea how a battle/war works it says 50000 of 100000 and 40000 of 80000 died. There was no such battle where this ammount of soldiers flat out died in a day or two, 50% is a tone more then one side loses in the entire war in every case not counting the 2nd WW, which raged on for years with high tech weapongs, i just couldnt take it seriously the reading from there

This chapter might as well have been called "Why people get uptight about BM in SC." It's a perfectly formulated response to why it's a big deal to a lot of people. I'm not implying rightness or wrongness. Just that it's pretty much the exact argument.

I KNOW. That was so dumb. I mean, at the beginning of the manga, naruto summons a giant toad so he can battle a giant sand raccon, and I thought at least it's possible geographically speaking. And when grandma chiyo brought gaara back to life, that at least made sense medically, but this war thing was so ridiculous. 50%, are you kidding me? The manga just lost all credibility for me right there.
