The Second Hokage sacrificed himself to save the newly elected Third Hokage, Danzo and others. The Second Hokage did not just fight 2v1 but was actually 20v1. All this information is found on Naruto Wiki which sources the manga episode of Danzo's flashback (when he fights Sasuke). I would link it and can later. It is just I am in a hurry right now.  | ||
