Just started reading up a bit on it after having stopped about 6-8 months ago. And yeah, this sums it up, will not bother reading again.
Now to see what has happened with Fullmetal Alchemist since i last checked it out...

Well, randomly decided to start reading Naruto three days ago... So I'm all caught up now. I enjoyed this more than Bleach, but seriously imba reviving all the dead people ~_~

It's amazing how many people complain about naruto and yet still read it every week. I guess it doesn't matter if you like it or not because you are still reading it, they are doing something correct amidst all the hate.
I still enjoy the manga and will continue to excited every wed/thurs when its subbed along with OP & Bleach. I don't really care about whether they revive all these all powerful enemies. We get to see new enemy faces, each of them is special in their own way, we get to learn more of the history of the world, and we don't have to deal with them very long if we don't like them.

Gotta disagree with this, Kakashi is the ultimate badass. Plus we're about to see Kakashi go on a "rampage." The worst part of this part of the manga for me, is the fact that Naruto is absent for the whole thing. Can't even count how many times Naruto's either unconscious, MIA, etc. when unbelievably important things are happening. Why do they keep subbing him out... So weak. Clearly they're just drawing out this manga as much as humanly possible.

Why again is this manga called Naruto when he isn't even around for half of the important stuff?

Because I've been reading it for several years and I need some god damn closure. If I drop it now there will always be that nagging feeling due to not knowing how it ended. For a story like Naruto, you can't just wait until it's finished and read a summary on wiki about how it ended. So basically, I have to stick with it until it's finished.

They are adding too many characters in an effort to add variety since the author doesn't know what to do anymore. One thing I think the author underestimate's is that people enjoy reading about training. Like my favorite part of the series is naruto learning to become a sage.
The other thing is I feel like we don't know anything about sasuke. My guess is kishi is going to do like a 10 week long thing on sasuke's drift towards darkness thing.
Also I really want to know more about sakura. Her character is really weak. There was some good stuff when she fought ino, but then it just died.
I think kishi screwed himself up when he made sasuke go bad. At that point, there was a clear ending set for the naruto series and any deviation is basically a time waste. I feel like we should have seen more missions after fighting zabuza, instead they are mixed in all over the place. The chronology of the series is getting really confusing.

+ Show Spoiler [chapter 528] +Not gonna lie, that was probably the stupidest possible ending to that fight. He survives because of sheer luck? Give me a break.
And to top it off, he had to go ahead and give a corny speech about feelings or whatever. -_-

I loved the new chapter. It's time for a real battle!
|
Ok, if theres wasnt any ressurection techniqued being used in the invasion. Did Madara was trying to rely on all those white Zetsus? They look darn weak lol.

Felt cheated out of something in that chapter....
And a tailed beast transformation? Uggghhh. -_____-x
Nice to see Kakazu again though. :D

I'm confused. Was that beast Ginkaku? Thought he got sealed.

The beast was the other one, Kinkaku or whatever. I don't like how they have nine tails chakra/abilities. Their original fighting style was at least original, despite being really weird. This is just a copy of another character :/

So I read naruto on and off every couple of months and I've just gotten to the part where Kabuto show's Madara all the akatsuki members revived.
Can you revive anyone regardless of there power? Are the people you revive totally loyal to you? If so why doesn't he just revive the Sage of the Six Paths? I mean isn't he suppose to be the strongest character in Naruto mythology hands down?

This chapter was slightly better than the usual.

I doubt he can revive the sage. I have a feeling Naruto is gonna eventually show up and start taking out all of these clones EZ to show off how much he has grown. The storyline definetly has potential to recover.

He has to have some of the remains of the person he's bringing back. My guess is no one knows where the remains of the Sage of the Six Paths is.
