Sadly this happened pretty damn early in the manga and like everyone else he just stood on that untill at least the time skip. We don't really know if they got any character development during that time, but even if they did that's a cop out unless we actually get to see what happened during those two years (which would be really really akward) and would frankly be bad story telling. OP has never relied on character development that's not how OP rolls and I'm glad it doesn't.

Edo Tensei (impure world resurrection) its a technique that uses a human sacrifice to resurrect the dead...but its not the actual person. A body is placed in the coffin with ash and soil that take the form of whatever soul the user chooses to bond to the corpse. The resurrected body has all of the abilities the person had while alive, bloodline abilities and unique traits included (see: Orochimaru summoning first hokage and him using wood techniques) You don't need any kind of bodily remains or anything remotely related to the deceased, the only known requirement is human sacrifice and the knowlege of how to perform the the technique So the actual body that Kabuto used to summon Nagato was not his actual corpse, just a corpse made to look like him and bonded with his soul. (under Kabuto's control of course as for the chapter....Kabuto is definitely up to something here. First he leads Anko directly to the hideout, now he just volunteers to take the 8 and 9 tails. I have a feeling Madara/Tobi is getting played | ||

I HIGHLY doubt the final coffin was Hashirama, in fact i would say im 99.9 percent sure it isn't....for one thing, Madara has fought Hashirama before and was considered roughly his equal, their final confrontation was even a ploy by Madara. He would not have been that freaked out. The bigger issue however is Kabuto's line of "Don't worry, i haven't told anyone else about it"...clearly implying whatever was in the coffin was a BIG secret to Madara, big enough for him to cave to Kabuto's demands. Hashirama being Madara's rival is hardly a secret, and certainly would not have caused that kind of reaction if summoned. Whoever Kabuto summoned, they have something to do with the secret behind who or what Madara/Tobi really is | ||

and with the current rate with which the plot is progressing, I'm thinking that naruto is gonna end within the next 200-300 chapters. I'm certain that it's not gonna make it to 1000 chapters at least. | ||
