Goku and Freeza: Very in character, pretty nice, quick dialogue, nice reminder of what a well-written character looks like. Hit and Champa: Nice development for Champa, not yelling but congratulating Hit for his work. Not being whiny, but optimistic. Also good writing. | ||

I know you love DBS, for me these fights where the Z fighters dont even have to go all the way to beat those weak enemies are just fillers and emotionless. | ||

I prefer to think of it as development of other characters and just something else going on. If the show was just a bunch of consecutive end-game fights with Goku, I don't think it'd be nearly as good. | ||

Edit: Roshi did get some love though, and I liked that quite a bit. I wish he had more chances to shine like he did in the tournament. | ||

And I'm really convinced U2 is there to fill airtime. It's easy to stretch their stupid antics to waste time whenever they need a minute or two to fill the episode with. There are 30 remaining fighters left and unless I screwed up my count, I believe that half are fillers from universes 2, 3 and 4. So that's quite a few more before we finally see the remaining fighters from universes 6, 7 and 11 fight it out. | ||

The fact that goku and jiren are miles beyond everyone else doesn't help. Even vegeta and freeza feel horribly underpowered in comparison | ||

Vegeta and Freeza will probably each take out someone from U11 and then they'll join Gohan and roll everyone else with aid from U6. After that, it's everyone remaining (U6 + U7) versus Jiren. | ||
