The characters weakened so far have had breathing room to recover; Jiren will not if he continues to be the center of attention.
Toppo and Dipshit look like they would be good targets for your Gohans, Cauliflas, Kales, etc. Gohan vs Toppo might be a decent match; both are pretty dang strong but weaker than Blue. Dipshit had his time in the sun, now he's just a sidekick that will get beat by sidekicks.
Notice that Beerus looks significantly more worried than any of the actual U7 warriors. Freezer and Vegeta still seem to be taking things mostly relatively chill rather than showing any signs of worry. That suggests to me that there's some means that they can think of to take the generic buff fuck down.
Why the fuck do you keep calling him Dipshit? It's fucking annoying. Maybe you're the Dipshit here.
Don't see why everyone's thinking these episodes were good - Jiren is way too bland. No backstory. No reason for being super strong. No personality. Not scary like Frieza, not evil like Cell, not psychotic like Buu... Just some badly five year old designed look with no facial expressions and no signature moves that make him awesome. Mystic silent super strong guy just comes across as boring when the character design is not "cool".

He just wants to survive. These episodes were phenomenal.

I also have to give it up to Hit for best response to a question. "I'm working."
I like how he thinks.
I know a lot of people say Hit doesn't stand a chance, but he's likely had a lot more time to practice, and from way back in the U6 vs U7 tournament, he outlasted SSBx10. He was the clear victor in that fight, even though it was because Goku gave him the chance to grow to be able to win. I have to feel that Hit has grown since then and is likely to do well against Jiren, even if he doesn't have a chance to out right win, he has a chance to do some damage.

nice thing here is that hit won't have to hold back against jiren, unlike in the first tournament of power

Fuck you, Disco is the best most original character ever!
So, who wrote this episode? Did someone really write "Goku goes inside a Spirit Bomb and then gets super powers, when everyone else has been damaged.

Dyspo is close enough to dipshit. It's a speedster thing. Quicksilver and Flash have mostly been hotheaded dipshits too.

He's a pretty arrogant fuckhead, yeah. Not even in a lovable way like Flash either.

I think the way they handled the transformation worked well. It was the spirit bomb power (good)+ the SSJB power (SSJ is "bad" and SSB is "godly". plus the pressure of Jiren's push. All of this combined made the Spirit bomb implode and it combined good, evil and godlike power into a Godly being that balances the two. At least that's the way I interpret it.
Also, there was a moment where Goku didn't exist in this universe, maybe he went somewhere that he doesn't remember? It was hinted that more exmplanations would be given in the following episodes.

I really like that instead of talking crap and doing gimmicky stuff, he is simply powerful. Awesome character.

Jiren having that scene where he's standing alone on a cliff admiring a beautiful sunset was really good too. Showing him taking a moment to appreciate what I assume to be one of his favorite sights as he mentally prepared himself to defend the universe. It gave me a "this is what I am fighting for" kinda feeling.

I am not sure if they will explain it, but I feel like it was something similar to Vegeta in the Hyperbolic time chamber/Demon Seal bottle (and then forcing his way out). I remember in the Zamasu arc when Zamasu got mafuba'd that Goku black was commenting his energy going in and out. It might be something similar and hopefully is explained a little more in the upcoming episodes.

I still think Jiren is gonna get jobbed. We're so far from the end of the tournament time.
|
I'd like Jiren to be jobbed. Have someone get off a few dirty potshots and then he won't be able to use his powerz. Then U11 dies and we can have Beerus vs Champa party again.
|
I think at this point it's way more likely they're gonna stall for a dozen episodes until we get an Ultra Instinct Goku vs Jiren rematch near the end of the ToP than that they introduce anyone new who could actually eliminate Jiren.

Super has thrown out some pretty freaking weird and unexpected curve balls though. Maybe it's just Zamasu that has given me serious trust issues when it comes to DBS, but I just don't think that's the end fight. It doesn't feel right to me.
