This arc seems to be plagued with just too many characters that had to be created from nothing, and there wasn't any time left to write some genuinely interesting fights. Ironically, this arc that's been getting hyped for some time is feeling like filler. They better get to the good stuff soon. | ||

he reflects beams, why don't they just fucking HIT HIM in the face instead of throwing stones. Picollo getting hit right in th earms 2 times OBVIOUSLY cuz thats the part he can recover. whole plateau full of beams, but only gohan/picollo seem affected. Tien can walk right thorugh even if he's 9 tiers below both of them. wtf is happening | ||

Remeber when tien was like fuck it these guys a way out of my league and didnt partake in the fight...but now hes totally up for universe ending battles. But taking a look at their so called champions of their own universe apart from 6 and 11 they all dont compare to goku in the slightest...some of the universes dont even have people stronger than ssj1 goku... their average has to be garbage teir as well...its not making any sense. | ||

I do dislike it though since most of these fights are just completely one sided, making it seem like U7 is just totally in control and has little to no issue handling every other universe except for a few notable characters. | ||

To be fair that was Cell. He probably assumed that there would be a lot of weaklings in the tournament (weaklings compared to Goku/Vegeta/Gohan/etc). This episode was probably the most boring for me since the tournament started, but it was said that they couldn't sense the snipers energy. Goku needs an energy source to Instant Transmition. The u7 ranked 2nd lowest I thought? But that had nothing to do with strength. It had to do with how developed they were and intelligence. | ||

U9 had Sidra, who destroys a bunch of stronger-than-average civilizations just cuz. U7 has Buu, Freeza, etc., who went around and murdered the strongest opponents they could find. Plus Goku and Vegeta fucked their shit up and destroyed that base of powerful opponents, further weakening the universal average. The current info strongly implies that the average didn't take into account the fact that Saiyans are overpowered. | ||

The US olympic swimming team doesn't win a fuckton of medals because the average american is better at swimming than the average person from other countries, it does so because it has a large pool of people from which to find talent and plenty of resources to help them grow. | ||
