Well the word is there will definitely be a 2nd season of the anime, since its immensely popular in japan..and worldwide. That being said, it definitely will be quite a while until they begin airing it. The fact is the first season came really close to catching all the way up to the manga, and the manga is only released about once a month...so we're looking at probably 6 months to a year until the 2nd season of the anime. I'm really hoping the writer just decides to go forward with the anime and release the manga's after (which i know won't happen b/c that's just not how things are done...it's almost always manga to anime and never anime to manga). Edit: ALSO i freaking hope that all of you people that just watched the anime without reading the manga actually watched the whole final episode all the way through the credits b/c there's a HUGE HUGE HUGE set up for the next season after the credits (and it's something that raises about a million questions). | ||

I have a feeling that they'll make the whole next season all about historia...and since it's for the most part been right on with the manga i feel like they're probably not gonna change a whole lot around. True they did a little bit in that episode, but it won't take much for them to hook back into the same storyline as the manga. | ||

And the wall cult guy freaks out and gets them to cover it up because of the sun? The way they did it in the anime that can't happen now since it was already daylight at the time the fight ended and Mikasa/Eren went home n shit.... | ||

I mean, the whole area around it was where the two titans fought so im sure that there's not gonna be very many ppl around there (its a freaking disaster area)..and if there are people they're probably part of the military and can be forced into secrecy somehow | ||
