I think it's amazing how everything remains a mystery for so long without actually being a slow series. But really, I'd finally want to understand what + Show Spoiler +the deal with the wall cult and the human titans is... .

Very discreet reveal at the end. After the mid-point story I was expecting something more, like Mikasa looking with soulcrushing despair at the hole in the wall, not daring to say a word to Eren about it the day after. Still, they wrapped up the story well, and the first half was full of great action, including Mikasa being a badass and cutting off Annies fingers and watching her fall, fall down. Great manga, great anime, looking forward to the next season.

My brother found an interview with the anime creator at some convention where he was asked if there would be a 2nd season and he said it depended on the fans in which point everyone went nuts. He also said the manga writer said that he's gonna wrap everything up by about the 20th volume (and there's been 11 so far) ...so honestly there's not that long to wait for the manga...maybe 8-9 months? and since some of it's already out they can start the making of the anime episodes long before the manga actually finishes (they just won't be able to air it until they've completed ...which is the normal for tv shows/anime)

Such a great manga. Can't believe I almost missed this months chapter. While the author protects a lot of the character, gotta love the reality that this manga brings. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Honestly, the mangas that have been panned out since the beginning seem to always be the best, at least to adult audiences. It baffles me that so many less follow this formula. Though I guess it's easier to focus on a weekly chapter, and spend less time planning. After reading some great stories like this, and tower of god, I have come to respect whole stories so much more instead of endless mangas that keep on going even though nothing makes sense anymore

Is it just me or is the translation wierd at places?

i had heard the bit about the volume 20 being the finale, and the no green light for next season as they put it is to be expected no? otherwise the anime would be catching up/overtaking the manga pretty quickly.
so essentially the article doesn't say anything new.

Ending at volume 20 is news to me. I'm glad to hear that the anime is hopefully waiting for the manga to catch up. It's all good news to me.

I love this Anime so much and I really hope it won´t take all to long until they release season 2 or at least announce it. A really great Anime/Manga.
I think I´m gonna do a Shingeki no Kyojin Marathon soon :>

oh wow only 20 volumes, that means its over in two years?

Legit. Underground thugs use 3d manuever gear stolen from the government.

interesting
also interesting is that this manga stops at volume 20. it's already more than halfway over.

They are not far away from this, so I think the pace is fine. Honestly, a great manga shouldnt be dragged for too long. only bad things happen
