o_O
nub punching was the funniest part of this chapter though
Eren is the heart of the group... A.k.a. a bag of emotions, mainly ranging from anger to hatred. Reiner and Bertholdt got his mom killed, as well as 200.000 other people, and he's absolutely furious at them.
Mikasa is the brawn, while the little kiddo is the brains ( whatever his name was ). I actually appreciate just how useless Eren is, considering the power he holds... If Mikasa had titan powers, she would be the most op character in that world.
Hahhahaaha if you've read Eva you will feel that Eren is amazingly useful.

I think watching the anime is the best way to 'get hooked' while waiting for the manga to come out. Biweekly would be great if he doesn't want weekly releases but I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.
So, I just marathoned 14 episodes of the anime (haven't read the manga). Really love the emphasis on the fear/horror that's felt while watching (HOLY SHIT X DIED HOOOLY SHIT NOO). But, the first couple of episodes were kinda shitty and slow - only thing that kept me going was that I found the premise/setting to be interesting.
I hate the main character though, just feels so unreasonably "I WANNA DO THIS". Side characters I like, especially the growing character that wanted to be in the military police. + Show Spoiler +
But, after the main character "died", I felt sorry for him and missed him. Then he came back and I hated his shitty attitude again)
Also, wong fu productions had a brief interview with a potato girl cosplay (looks good imo!)

I can't watch the anime after reading the manga because the pacing is sooooooooo slow. Makes me wonder which chapter of the manga they're planning on ending at.

hmm well it gets harder to keep in mind that the manga will come out since it's once a month lol but at least if you watch the anime, then it keeps you thinking about the manga as well. Ya, the pacing has slowed down a bit since its inception but it's not that bad although knowing what's going to happen in each episode does make it a bit underwhelming XD
Dafaq how is the pacing of the anime slow. You do realize that the anime is already past chapter 19 now with 13 episodes out? And than you can count in that a regular manga has 19 pages whereas Shingeki is monthly and has 30+~. And even then with the pace it's going now, we're done after another 17~ episodes. Iirc it was scheduled for 26 episodes.

well, not much can be done in her current role. I mean they are + Show Spoiler +
chasing the titans to try and get eren.

she's got a good character, makes for some good laughs lol.
A group of three cosplayers (Eren, Hanji, and Armin) were so excited telling me about the series, so I gave it a try. I just got up to date on the manga. It's very good, but it suffer of "secondary characters I care for always get killed" syndrome
