if there's a human at the nape of the neck of every titan...i feel like that's just huge oversight and possibly plot breaking. they must have found one human in the nape of the neck each time they cut them. maybe over time, some people are just absorbed into titans, or they only appear when they regain their humanity?
I think you may have a pretty good idea here actually. Especially the part where people are absorbed into Titans, I think that people who become absorbed become stupid and start eating other people.
Eh well Eren wasn't able to think of anything. The guys were going to take him away right then because rescue was coming. What is he going to do let them take him away then think of a plan? No he is going to fight his hardest to get away because that's the only thing he can think of. I mean at least he tried to pretend he was going to cooperate, but they knew Eren was going to fight because his personality makes his actions obvious.

I was with the whole, "Eren is just more realistic than most anime characters", for the most part, but it's getting to the point of stupidity and annoyance.
I agree that the characters in this manga have more realistic responses than in most other mangas, the fear they show, the ignorance of the wall worshipers, it's all done really well.
Eren is just being plain stupid now though. I suppose that's realistic too, especially for a kid filled with so much rage against the titans, but he's going off about how it's better to be calm and assess the situation, then in the next chapter, he pulls some stupid ass stunt that he even knows won't work. What happened to his "let's assess the situation" thing?
While I think Eren, in most ways is a realistic character, given his background and everything, his reactions are hardly "normal" at this point. He's literally saying what a good idea would be, then contradicts it in the next chapter. I feel even with all his rage, he should just be smarter than that. I think that's why ChrisXIV is calling him retarded.

If you think about it. Those titans in the wall are most likely humantitans like Ymir, Eren etc, those that can control themselves. A long time ago it was probably something like this; The humantitans knew that the only way to save mankind was to make a wall to protect humans from crazed titans, the usual titans we know that eat peoples. So they sacrificed their freedom to make a high wall out of their titan transformations to protect humans or something like that or they were forced in some way. I dont know really but I do believe that those are all aware and thinking titans in the wall.

Eren is the heart of the group... A.k.a. a bag of emotions, mainly ranging from anger to hatred. Reiner and Bertholdt got his mom killed, as well as 200.000 other people, and he's absolutely furious at them.
Mikasa is the brawn, while the little kiddo is the brains ( whatever his name was ). I actually appreciate just how useless Eren is, considering the power he holds... If Mikasa had titan powers, she would be the most op character in that world.

I would support this theory, if Eren hadn't aged in the years since he rescued Mikasa from the kidnappers. If you think back to Reiner and Bertholdt's titan forms, they looked the same as they look now, Seemingly not having aged at all.

The game is really fun but they seriously need to fix some of the fucking bugs, so sick of having to start over after picking off ~10 titans because I fucking glitch through a building or because Im sitting there spamming attack yet it says Im not hitting them(seems mikasa only attacks from 1 fucking side -.-)
Doing a rewatch/reread. After Shiganshina district and the Wall Maria were breached then Eren and Mikasa fled what exactly happened? In the anime and I assume the manga too there is a flashback/dream where Eren is being given an injection from his father. Eren says "you've been acting weird ever since Mom died." Obviously this injection is in some way related to his Titan transformation either giving him the ability or even suppressing it if he were once a "feral" Titan like Ymir.
This implies Eren met up with his father for a prolonged period when, but Mikasa doubts that saying "That can't be" after Eren says he met his father. Though Eren must have met up with his father somehow because was not given the key to the basement when his father left before the Titans attacked. This would mean his father was somehow able to get Eren away from Mikasa without her noticing which I don't see how. Even if he was able to get him away for a day without her noticing the "You've lost it ever since mom died" wouldn't make sense. One theory I have is that Carla Yeager isn't his real mother and these are flashbacks/dreams of the injections his father gave, but then that just makes more mysteries like how he forgot about his real mom and still doesn't answer how he got the key.
