tbh i would put donna as rank 2 on characters that have gotten worse over the series (3rd if you include rachel, but rachel hasnt gotten worse per say, shes been bad the entire series).
i dont think donna is the 2nd worst character to watch because shes definitely not that bad, but considering how far shes fallen from her peak shes rank 2 on my list.

hmm somehow i don't think this prison shit is entirely over yet, because Mike was out on episode 9, and episode 10 will be the summer finale, so there's gotta be some sort of cliffhanger ... i though do hope it's something new because god forbid if they send Mike back to prison again ...

I'm guessing Mike's out for good but something will make the firm's future even more uncertain. It'll be due to some betrayal or someone will be coming after them for whatever reason.

Anyway, just want to say that it's hard for me to support any characters. Everyone's a fucking mess. You'd think getting Mike moved to another prison or another cell block would be easier and more ethical than taking up a violent criminal as a client and then representing him to get him out (and then representing him poorly). At this point Harvey's clearly just a piece of shit.

Mike got out without any fanfare but I guess that bet is over. The show did put in enough twists that Mike was in prison longer than in investment banking. He does continue his streak of never applying to a job but always finding himself employed.

After the OJ Simpson special, I pay more attention to the jury and it was brutal for Leonard Bailey. 6 white men, 4 white women, 1 black man, and 1 black woman usually spells certain defeat for a black defendant. By contrast, OJ got 8 black women, 1 black man, 1 Hispanic man, and 2 white women (all Democrats, all knowing OJ as a football star). Mike's jury was 8 white men and 4 white women, although the foreman did say that he fought alone against the others and swung them to his side. But mixed props for not casting a light on discrimination in the justice system.

The ending doesn't make sense. It should actually be Harvey who falls on the sword and leaves. He hired Mike as a fraud and then threw a case (two, if/when Gallo gets word out).

Jessica wasn't leaving to save Mike or Harvey or Louis; she was leaving to save her soul. That was the point of the flashbacks with her dad.

That's also why she didn't leave her trial to go with Harvey and Louis at the last second, and why the exoneration was "the most satisfying moment of her career".

That's also why she showed up at Jeff Malone's door.

considering jessica was the only reason their first client stuck with them, I don't see how this doesn't cause their firm to still lose half of their business. Also, even though Mike isn't being hired as a lawyer, you don't think potential clients will look at them hiring a consultant that went to jail for fraud with the same company with a sideways eye?

I can deal with all the warts if Suits goes back to one problem per episode with clever solutions rather than Harvey threatening to beat the shit out of people.
