What do you guys think Hardman has on Jack? Jack kept trying to leave Hardman but he kept getting roped back in. It's clear that Hardman has some kind of leverage on Jack, especially when Louis tried talking to Jack (and then again to Hardman). Do you think it's related to the two packages Hardman sent Jack at the office? Reminders that Jack is being blackmailed? | ||

I don't understand at all why Donna told Louis that Mike and Harvey smoked pot. She qualified the comment by saying it was a really big deal, Louis dismissed it pretty quickly because that's not the kind of thing he'd do ("Are you suggesting I take the pot?"; "Do I look like the kind of guy who needs to be hungry and paranoid?"), and then 3 seconds later the conversation had completely switched gears. Why bother bringing up the illegal deed? It seemed random and out of place and didn't have any effect. | ||

With him being so against it lessened the comedic aspect of Louis. I don't know if that is what they were going for, but that's what I got out of it  | ||

With that look of hers that says "don't try that with me". I think I strangely wish to be there instead of Louis or Harvey or Mike or Soloff or Rachel, just to bask in all that powerful gloriousness. For the same reason they randomly mentioned in passing "Did you just become the youngest junior partner in history" randomly earlier in the season. They clearly were setting up Louis trying the exact same idea (and it likely working). As for the leverage Hardman has on Jack its probably something for someone he cares about. Jack seems like a strait up lawyer who doesnt cross lines but that does not mean everyone in his family has never crossed a line or has a vulnerable point which is all Hardman would need to bend Jack to his will. | ||

He didnt really conspire so much as Louis told him he was going to do it and he did not stop him. There is a difference between crossing a line and using the leverage you have once someone does. There is a reason Louis couldnt find a single line he crossed or why he would have stopped Mike on the case they worked together if he hadnt said those documents were not obtained illegally. | ||
