Karaka has a rather interesting way of drinking tea.

I would have considered it if they would allow to do that on desktop, but it seems it's only for mobile -_-

Other than that I'm hoping that the break enabled the author to prepare a bit more strategy and story, last arcs were a bit too DBZ for my taste. I'd prefer monthly releases overall, plot-heavy stories just tend to suffer from weekly schedules.

Sure hope something actually changed because right now it seems like the timeskip didn't do anything and everything is mostly the same and it was just there to even out the power levels (which is a godawful reason for a timeskip). EDIT: Okay I guess it's a ponytail and not pigtails. I can accept that.

Kaiser looked cooler with the armor though. There are a few too many dark haired pretty girls without distinctive features, so would be cool if Kaiser kept that. Tbh evening out the power-levels is incoherent, but really necessary. Hell train's ending pushed Baam way too far up way too quickly, to the point where it's entirely unbelievable that his old party would do anything compared to him. Baam's attitude reminds me of his new master, which is nice.

Tbh I hope Baam looses most of his power somehow, I don't enjoy him pushing straight through the opposition instead of having to think. Khun felt mostly useless recently and the main reason is the large power gap between Baam and everyone but the arcboss.

I like the characters, but ToG was originally more of a fantasy version of survival games and the last few arcs were closer to a high quality version of Bleach. New TOG is basically DBZ/Bleach. The best we can hope for is a swift conclusion. Personally, I just want to see the entire tower destroyed.

Dunno how much his health was/is affected and it's very hard to get out of the op MC cycle, since the first thing Siu'd have to do was nerf Baam into the ground or kill off the weak side chars, which would cost him the power fantasy loving part of his community. I'd really like to see some backlash from all the self-stabbing though, that's among the most stupid powerups I've ever seen. Seems to be the fate of every weekly release, a week just isn't enough for most authors to write a consistent good story with very few exceptions. Would much prefer it to go to a monthly schedule or for the author to take consistent breaks to plan stuff out. Welp the least we'll get are pretty explosions and nice looking water spheres.

I disagree, the last few arcs were slow with almost nothing happening and a lot of panels devoted to big explosions, so the story didn't progress while we didn't have much info, text, or characterization in the whole "final station" arc.

I'd argue though that ToG doesn't have a lot of main plot outside of "Baam climbs the tower" and "FUG wants to destroy Jahad". Most of what happens within the tests etc has minor to no long term consequences, similarly to Khun's unfreeze story. And if you count the mindgames as plot then I don't see anything wrong with the unfreeze chapter and the preface about Yama?

You gain the ability to transform into random shit at the cost of growing lame ass dog ears on your head. Just level up your skills normally, FFS.
