It's like a little puppy, haha. I'm sad to see that Baam didn't get it in with Androsi. It seemed like she was very hungry for his... thorn and he didn't quite know where to put it. How old is Baam? Has he not gone through puberty yet? Maybe he's saving himself for that fire chick. I don't know which I'd rather baang but both are equally appealing. It seems like Androsi would be more passionate in bed but the fire chick would go absolutely bonkers and it'd be the fuck of your life. Also I think Androsi would be more of a dom whereas the fire chick is more of a sub. Baam though probably likes doms because of his past experiences with girls like rachel. What's your analysis of Yuri and Hwa Ryun? Yuri os just androsi 2.0. Or is it the other way around? They're like carbon copies. I would imagine Yuri has her way with the guide that always tags along with her. Hwa is just a masochist. I bet she gets off on fighting and being hit. Theres this new rage in japan where girls would get punched in the stomach and get off on the impact it made with thier tubes. Hwa would be into that. Its why she wanted to fight mini koon. She likes being knocked around and causing pain herself.
And then Reflejo happened.
Ha Jinsung is such a badass. Also 97th floor, the difference in power between what happened there and what's happening now must be absolutely obscene.

Notice how it center's on Karaka's ring when he states that Baam and the thorn will come for him one day. I think that it might also foreshadow a fight between Baam and Ja Wangnan. I may be stretching it though.

I was expecting more than 6 weeks tbh. Anyhow, he cut his hair!! Yesss. It was really bothering me. The back of his freshly cut head looks 10x more beautiful than the front of his face with all that hair on the back. "To save the tower" - I really hope Rachel doesn't turn out to be someone who was forced to play the villain in order to save the tower, a task she entrusted herself to do despite knowing she will lose all her friends. That would be lame.

personally, the tower should burn, people belong in the outside world.
RIP Jyu Viole Grace.

they're human, they can adapt to nearly anything.

Fk yeah, they finally acknowledge that Rachel is dangerous. She is an irregular after all. It's just that she is under the radar, no1 knows her true identity, sneaky as fk, has a hidden motive that would make her FUG's golden child, and rightfully at least 10x more dangerous than Baam.
|
Her whole history is fishy and it's honestly frustrating not knowing who she is and what her purpose is. I mean, she knows Baam's birthday before having met him. Same goes for Baam.
Another thing about Rachel is that she is not your average irregular. Irregulars are able to enter the tower despite not being chosen (it seems Headon is the one that chooses). So even the tower makes exceptions to regulars and opens the door to them. Baam went after Rachel and the tower opened its door due to his presence. If Rachel was alone nothing would have happened. Rachel was never meant to be in the tower in the first place.
This is just something interesting and will probably not factor in that much. In the end an Irregular is an Irregular regardless of how you got in as long as you weren't chosen by Headon.

I really want to know more about Rachel, her strength and powers. IIRC androssi said that she got the feeling that wouldn't be good to fight against her in the 2nd floor when both of them + that other giant spear bearer killed everyone in 30 minutes, not to mention that Headon must have made a fucking difficult test for her in the 1st floor, as she did not want to go against the steel eel like Baam did. Even if she took the same test after Baam we all know that she passed and without any help of a great weapon like black march that helped Baam. Looking foward to see the new season, wish SIU to recover well and fast.

I paused this manga because I hated waiting every week for new content. I stopped after Baam consumed(?) the needle and Hwa Ryun yolo-dived after telling masked dude the plan. Are there more character introductions since then? This story has more characters than Code Geass. Too hard to remember everyone's story; even more so since I stopped for a bit. 3 more weeks and I'll be able to reread some chapters.

Not sure about how many chapters since then. But for the next 6 weeks, there won't be new chapters. SIU is on a break due to injuries in his wrist.

Headon is in on the ploy to "kill" Baam and get him to FUG, he didn't give a test to Rachel, he made her "pass" on the condition that she'd help with the ploy. Wanting to climb (and being afraid of Baam) she accepted and received a Guide and bodyguards to help her catch back up to Baam.

As far as I remember, rachel didn't necessarily pass any test, and has been shown as a weak individual physically and mentally. After Baam passed the test, headon made a deal with rachel. We don't know what this deal was, but it doesn't require rachel to pass anything legitimately. However, Headon wants to change the tower, and doesn't like the way Zahard rules. He can see that Baam could be someone that changes the tower, and Rachel will work as a driving force for Baam to keep going, and therefore Headon made sure that rachel keeps progressing and Baam keeps fighting onwards.
To be honest, having Rachel suddenly become insanely powerful would be lame because she has constantly been portrayed as a weak person who uses others to advance her own goals.

Rachel's strengths are her manipulative ways and the knowledge she has.

Am I the only one that actually likes rachel? I think shes far more than plain evil. We honestly dont know much about Baam. Why was he locked up? Why is rachel scared of him? Maybe she is the true hero in this story that will stop the monster Baam from destroying the world
|
I don't like her but I don't hate her as much as most people seem to. When she betrayed Baam I thought there has to be a reason for it, and I still do. I don't think she's plain evil, her motives just haven't been explained yet.

A monster indeed, talentwise; but i can't recall hints on evil intentions from baam whatsoever.
From the moment of Rachel pushing baam, i disliked her. It's only become worse after that. I thought the 1st floor from Rachel's point of view was disgusting.
I've never actually disliked a character as much as Rachel. That's at least one job well done by siu, regardless of her being good or evil, imo
