But it seemed so obvious I didn't dare to speak up. I assumed it had to be more complicated than that.
when you compare http://www.mangareader.net/tower-of-god/164/20 with http://towerofgod.wikia.com/wiki/Hwa_Ryun it definately looks abit like her, but honestly, it could just aswell be someone else.
I'm still putting my bets on Hwa Ryun, since it'd make sense, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were somebody else.

I wish he wouldn't have made her laugh like that and seem "evil", though. I mean, sure, she's a bit dumb, and very, very self-centered while being unable to deal with the fact she weren't "chosen" by the tower. But these weren't inherently evil traits, just character flaws, and I enjoyed the presence of a character driven by selfishness and her own desires, albeit in a deluded way, compared to all the "I have this vague/generic dream and I'll reach it by powering up over the course of the manhwa and growing stronger myself". There was no need to make her look psychotic. T_T

I feel the same. I still hope he pictures rachel a little bit more grey. She is the most interesting character in my opinion.

I don't think he'll end up making her straight evil, just that her motivations will become clearer later. There seemed to be a reason she betrayed Baam other than just being evil.

Here you go: http://mngacow.com/tower-of-god/v2-25/?all
Its at the end of the chapter. This translation doesn't have the laugh text added in.

Damn I miss those times when 1 chapter is this long. Now it seems 1 chapter is really short

There is one big thing that always bothers me while i'm reading ToG. The dichotomy of plot that is shown to us and what is being said about the universe.
For example FUG's lifelong dream is to end the "tyranny" of Zahard, we don't know how old this dream is but it's probably few/several hundred years old. And when their first opportunity appears (Baam) there are so many things left to fate. As if everyone up there does not care about this. I mean Baam/Viole could die several times, once we see Viole being closely watched and later we see Viole bumping with Urek etc. I mean sure Urek was a random thing but still it shows how incompetent it is to push your most important card into unknown environment.
We were told (and still being reminded) that there far more incredible powers involved in things we see, but what we see seem to be a dramatical events and some of them are by pure luck or chance. As if all the powers in the universe prefer to chill on chair and watch how the puny regulars will fare. I mean if by a chance Koon will summon Viole it would just prove that it seems everyone up there is taking it half-assed.
I just hope this setting is intended, kinda in a way of "look all your best efforts are meaningless when we start to care" to give a proper spin at the end. If not i will be kinda dissapointed.
