No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is.
Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers. |

Should be pretty interesting if the subplots (Most Daring Pony, shadow pony) make an appearance in later episodes, since they're definitely left wide open. if they do indeed start moving towards bigger plots the show might suffer a bit. not sure though. it depends on how good the plot is, but given the actual target audience it's hard to get a great plot going. good things about MLP in the past, at least for me, were the life lessons as well as the funny/cute stuff you'd see. :/ sometimes i don't understand why I watch, then again it's not like it matters why i do that said, even if a plot weren't introduced you could still very well get same shit that made mlp good before so i guess it's not that big a deal. especially since the first seaons still had plot; it was just really stretched out I don't see why we can't have the plot + the funny slice of life episodes, take the most recent for example, it was a goofy funtime scenario based loosely (at least for Twi) seeking more knowledge about the main storyline.
Heck, my theory is that a key will be generated for the lockbox each time one of the mane 6 learns a valuable friendship lesson which really isn't all that different from the other seasons.
Plenty of time for the funny/cute stuff imo.

So, last night was the night I had to produce part of my pony episode script. This semester, I decided to write a full episode script for MLP in my second-year dramatic writing course. On the final night of class, everyone produces a segment of their script. Some people had recordings we played, but most were done live (depending on what project they worked on and how much time they could put into production). I managed to get my script production recorded, so if you're interested, here it is:

I feel like the Cutie Mark Crusaders are definitely an overarching plot. It would have been really easy to give them an episode of three and then give them their cutie marks with some lesson about being yourself, or finding what you enjoy and sticking with it or something like that, but they've drawn it out for a really long time (and have done so well). I look forward to longer plots.

I just thought of the title for my next paper:

I reserve the right to 20% royalties, 15% any artistic creations (read: action figures et al) and one plushie of Fluttershy (best pony) origin

For the record guys, if any of you aren't reading Murky Number Seven right now, you really, really, really should. It's easily the best Fallout Equestria sidefic that's been made and is just about to head into the finale.

With the royalties from an anthropology paper, you can buy your own plushie! Maybe. If you split with someone.

Nono. You misread. The royalties are on top of the plushie. The royalties will help me buy (a lug nut for) a Lamborghini. If the paper comes to light you owe me a plushie as my compensation

did anyone notice the type writer in the last episode? it has 2 buttons lol

I don't work with others because I can't trust them with my secrets. I'll just write them all in a best-selling book series instead!

I think they actually use a system where one button cycles throug the letter and the other one prints it its really slow and tedious but if they can fly faster than sound and use magic while kicking trees I think writing like that would be easy
