I have heard of it, I have a small idea, but I have no issue avoiding it haha. Also, that pic is great! I love how Derpy fits perfectly in the middle.

I don't know how many times I rewatched the Appleloosan Psychiatrist PMV; pretty sure it hasn't been posted yet in this thread, yet it's fucking flawless and exceptional: + Show Spoiler +

I really don't want to ruin your impressive record of never having been berated for recommending the show... so instead I'll just proffer the question, "Are you sure that the demographic isn't males age 13-35 high on chronic?" The art style is nice but I can't see myself wasting any more time to actually watch the series. It's got nothing to do with preconceived notions of what things are for boys and what things are for girls (else I wouldn't have watched the episode in the first place), it just wasn't interesting... cliched plot and unamusing dialogue. Also... Laura Faust must be a really interesting woman. I've never seen much of Powerpuff Girls or Imaginary Friends, but interesting to see that they were created by the same person

God you make my blood boil.... It makes me ANGRY when people like things I think they shouldn't like. Oh, and I have done that, and it made the date awesome. What now?

I am ashamed to have written a criticizing post with such proximity to your And for the record, my previous girlfriends would have all been amused by the prospect of my enjoying the show (if I had enjoyed it) and would have been happy to discuss it.

Provided you're not outright lying about this highly implausible scenario, the both of you seem to be highly imbalanced people. It's the shallow part that gets me, and makes me wonder why there's a following. My guess is just that it's some sort of counter-counter counter rebellion to society, or something. But it also doesn't take Freud to see that there's something funny going on with a person's whose blood will boil just because he sees a group of people enjoying a common form of entertainment... or he's just a troll Edit: and there's my answer, below

Wait, so let me get this straight. You are ASHAMED. Let me emphasise that. ASHAMED to have written a post close to my so called trolling post, because i criticized a few hundred grown men for loving the show My Little Pony in a My Little Pony thread on a site with 99% male demographic. I think that says it all.

But what if a grown man likes the Teletubbies, though? It's not so much for little kids, that one is basically for babies pretty much. Is that "normal"? I don't know what to think about it, but I feel like the kind of people who enjoy shows for kids are probably weird people in general. Maybe I'm just judging people too fast but I assume that I'd naturally not become friends with those people as they probably have character traits that are a bit off for my liking.

I'm pretty sure it's not against the law to like anything. Except in fiction, where it's possible to punish thoughtcrime. But yeah, I agree, enjoying a show about ponies is undeniable evidence of an imbalanced individual. Oh wait. Anyway, you go ahead and keep thinking that it's wrong to like things you don't like, and the rest of us will keep watching ponies <3

The first few episodes you watch, regardless of what episodes they were, will not make you a believer, especially if you are already watching the show with a very negative bias. I started off with the first 2 episodes and really didn't enjoy it too much, but I kept an open mind and continued on, it wasn't until I had watched about 6 episodes that I really started to enjoy the show, and after completing the season and going back to the episodes I didn't enjoy at first, they were much better. A lot of the episodes focus on the aspects of a few characters and If you don't understand them, you won't enjoy it as much. For episode 7, it focuses on Fluttershy. If this is your first encounter, then it won't be nearly as funny or enjoyable. Now since I watched episode 7 as my 7th episode, I really enjoyed it.
