We got to see some fun new things in animation (plus the normal animation stuff, and by "normal" I mean normal incredible), it was HILARIOUS, we got to see pretty much all of the big characters, and MOST importantly... we got to see ALL(!) of the mane 6 in the spa along with the spa ponies themselves. Muahaha. Not only that, but they also ACTUALLY were being spa-y and enjoying it instead of it just being a place for them to be for a scene. Did that make sense? I dunno. As pretty much the only real spa-pony-fan around, I don't know what I did to deserve all this awesomeness... but I'm not complaining one bit. You'd better believe I'll be rewatching this one a plenty of times, and including it pretty high on my favorite episodes list. Also: Twilight OP, Rarity is incredible, and I can't help but like AJ more and more. | ||

The "fanservice" sort of stuff that I was going to mention in this post have already been mentioned by others, but yeah I really lost it especially at "I'll destroy her" and at basically Big Mac changing roles with AJ. The way I'd describe this ep is that it was very fun. Not one of the best eps, but a very enjoyable, solid one nonetheless. | ||

Wow. Was not expecting much from this episode after seeing descriptions and previews, but I was wrong. That was a really solid episode, and not just because of the self referential stuff. Lots of funny parts, I liked the way they wrapped it up, and the good things in every episode (animation voice acting ect) were there of course. It's not going to be a contender for my favorite episode, but defiantly one of the better ones. | ||
