Watched the first episode, still a no to me.
Idk what everyone's talking about, to me it just seemed like every other little girls show.

No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is. Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers.

I just don't see how you can have a quality thread considering what sort of fans the show attracts.

Winter Wrap up is in my sc2 playlist on grooveshark). It's easily the weakest of the ones on the show. The pilot episodes are also know for not being the strongest. If you'd take a recommendation, one of my favorite episodes is Fall Weather Friends (Episode 13). Other good starters are Bridle Gossip (Episode 9), Dragonshy (episode 7), and Party of One (Episode 22)

As far as I know the majority of the people who I have spoken with who enjoy MLP are *not* furries. Accusing people of being furries for enjoying a show with anthropomorphic animals is like insisting that people who enjoy transformers must be mechanophiliacs, its jumping to conclusions. Unfairly I might add.

(Soundbite of laughter) Mr. BURBANK: So imagine their surprise when the show became a huge hit with unemployed adult men in their 20s and 30s who call themselves bronies. (Soundbite of laughter) Mr. BURBANK: Bronies like 32-year-old Luke Allen of Albuquerque wile away their days posting fan videos on YouTube, trading ponies. "I'll give you a gently used Twilight Sparkle for that mint condition "Flutter Shy." (Soundbite of laughter) Mr. BURBANK: And likely setting off internet alarms everywhere by cruising My Little Pony chat rooms for the latest gossip. (Soundbite of laughter) Mr. BURBANK: They say they love the show for its excellent animation and subtle references to that other hallmark of high school celibacy, "Dungeons and Dragons." (Soundbite of laughter) Mr. BURBANK: For their part, the show's creators say they're pleasantly creeped out - flattered, by all the attention. (Soundbite of laughter) SAGAL: Bronies, men who like My Little Ponies, a little kid's TV show. Your last story of expanding demographics comes from Mo Rocca.

It just helps he's not overweight and funny. hm yeah, its almost as ridiculous as being paid to play video games The statement is still valid stereotpyes along with negative connotations of such stereotype still sick into the minds of society, just because you can point to someone who is well off doesn't reverse the ideals in peoples mind. Just because your select group of friends think you are great doesn't mean the rest of society views you the same. The extreme of this would be cults and the not so extreme would be little segments like car enthusiast etc, and it's fine as long as your groups not out with malice upon others. I'm just pointing out that he doesn't really redefine what people think of bronies.

Rainbow Dash looked pretty cool though and although I haven't watched more than five minutes of it, the visuals are freakin' sweet.
