I started watching FiM about four weeks ago. Watched all 26 episodes across the span of 2 days. Then I learned about "pony overdose". Needless to say I had it bad. I couldn't think of anything except ponies. But it got a little better. I still accidentally "eeyup" or "okie dokie lokie" while speaking sometimes. That's basically my pony story. My TL quote is from a Battletech/MLP crossover fanfic called The Thessalonic Legacy. Yes, it is good. Really good. And Twilight Sparkle is and always will be best pony. | ||

The show has a unique charm and people have already mentioned what draws most people. Sure, it's ponies but apart from that I see no reason you wouldn't at least try to watch the first episode. It's 20 minutes long(technically 40 minutes since it's a 2 parter). Like it, welcome to the club;don't, at least you gave it a shot. Calling people gay,pedophiles,etc. is uncalled for(while there are a few troubled individual every fandom has them) and most bronies are quite nice if a bit overwhelming on some forums. But that's the moderators part since you either keep it contained in 1 thread or you suck at being a moderator. In short, give it a try, no one is forcing you to like it. Even if you decide to hate it and every fan the show has try to be a bit more respectful. | ||

So I saw all these ponymemes and figured out I might aswell look what all the fuzz is about, very much aware that it's a show for little girls... ...And I just couldnt believe how good it was, and that I actually enjoyed every episode. The Winter Wrap Up song is easily one of the best songs from a cartoon i've heard. And if you never seen it, I encourage you to find episode 1&2 on Youtube. You can find them in 1080p quality.
