The only thing I really take issue with this post is that religious people are not going to take kindly to you telling them they believe in "fairy stories". Feel free to think I'm weird, I will continue to unconditionally love and tolerate you ^_^
It's my opinion, if people get offended by it then they can do whatever they feel like to respond, but my opinion will not change.
Are you willing to have a serious debate? A lot of people here are up for being asked about themselves (to disprove your point) or about the show (to say why they really like it, i.e. it being a quality TV show).
Have you considered you might be wrong and working from incorrect assumptions?
I think we have reached the point where poeple are mostly discussing the derailing comment about religion, so i just wanted to state that this is not the "flame people for their religious stance" thread. We should be careful it does not turn into one, because those tend to get closed, and i don't want this thread to get closed.
Also, it is not exactly polite to post derailing flamebait that is absolutely unrelated to once actual post.
I don't think anyone was following the flamebait, the comment that might be most considered as "derrailing" is mine, Sol just wants to talk about the show. ^_^
Anyway, Ponies!
Ponies?
You are silly, the majority of those are puppies. In fact, i would state that statistically speaking, the amount of pony in this one is neglectable. Less then a quarter.

Yet I can argue that at least 70% of the cuteness of this pic is Pony.
Who am I kidding, you could remove the puppies and the image wouldn't change in cuteness levels.

Okay, so today has been amazing and I am in an incredibly good mood.
-I got to wear my pony shirt to school for the first time today, and I got multiple compliments on my appearance, more than a few of which were directed at my shirt. I was also able to tell a few people I know about ponies when they asked what the heck was on my shirt... I'm hoping that they'll be eventual conversions.
-One of my friends who was really resisting pony conversion just because he doesn't want to be my next "victim" admitted that all of my cool pony music was pushing him towards watching the show, and admitted that he'd like me to put them on his iPod. This will be my 3rd conversion using almost nothing but music.
-I now have a CD with some of my favorite pony songs in my car, so I can listen to them EVERYWHERE
-I have like 20 songs to listen to on EqD to catch up - hoping for a few more to add to my collection.
-The happiness of the best weekend ever is still in full effect. Will it ever wear off? I hope not.
Writing all that makes me realize just how much I love ponysongs. Whoa. ♥
Edit: I feel empty inside when I don't post with a picture, so here! :D + Show Spoiler +
There is less than 1% as much good Aloe / Lotus art as there should be...
Holy awesome. Join IRC bro, and provide me a link with ALL of your songs! :D

Edit: Endrey, I remember you posted something earlier about joining us for live episodes but forgot to comment... you should TOTALLY join us in IRC sometime for a TOTALLY awesome time! :D
Also, Trump, if you read this thread at all you are my favorite person in the entire universe. Manner and classical music!

We'd love to have you. =) It really is a lot of fun to get excited and discuss the episode live, and everyone is super enthusiastic and welcoming.
We'd have to hide Gary, though.
Open invitation stands...
That goes for everyone reading this. Our IRC is an awesome hangout during these events.
Nice! Gratz on the prize Diverzee! Look good on yah!
Hopefully this weekend when I'm off I'll try to take a look at the story . Big fan of house/Derpy Hooves so I'm excited .

Also, I'm a doctor, I can promise the medical stuff is accurate if you would wonder about that when you read. Well I guess possibly more accurate if they'd be humans, but still.

When I was on IRC during the marathon, I kept getting disconnected every 45-minutes or so. Is there a known issue with timeout when using the webclient? Think irc itself will work better?

I didn't get DC'd once during the entire 13 hours, personally.

I have a ton of problems while using the webclient. mIRC and xchat have been perfectly stable and reliable so far. I'd definitely recommend getting one of those or something similar. Missing even a few moments of chat is horrid! :D

For sure. We had some people reporting problems, especially during the chat spam. The webclient has all kinds of issues.
I recommend using mIRC or, if you're on FireFox, ChatZilla. The former can be a bit daunting the first time you boot it up, but it's honestly not that hard to use once you get stuff set up.

I also had webclient problems during the mare-a-thon too. as Aylear says, get IRC, about 5-15 minutes to set it up, but It never crashes for me.
It has come to my attention, and to the attention of my fellow TL bronies that we must have a Bronycraft night! A few of us have already been doing some games together and it has proven to be a blast. People who have rarely played sc2 or not at all in months are getting back into the game because... who would have known it's fun with friends?
Simply put this means a night of starcraft 2 games, this could include our own 1v1 "showmatches", FFA's, team battles, team mono battles, customs including Mafia, TD's etc. (let me know what maps y'all would like to do)
Now the greatest constipation here is those dirty bastards at blizzard making us have to buy more clients of the game in order to play on other servers. I figure that instead of having divided NA and EU Bronycraft we may be able to compile some alt or friend accounts together in order to have everyone playing together on the NA. As for myself I have one account I could let somebody use for sure and may be able to get my hands on a few more. Granted this would probably mean starting earlier for our EU buddies which is fine by me.
So let me know who's interested, and what times/days are good for you. I don't know if the thanksgiving festivities might tie people down this weekend or perhaps we will all be busy watching dreamhack, but let's get something together here.
Sounds like a plan! I'm available pretty much any time, maybe less on Tuesdays. I'm one of those haven't-played-since-season-2 guys, but I will most definitely play if it's with you guys. It'll be interesting to see how badly I do. :D BronyCraft!
