SC2 brony tournament? 20% cooler than any other tournament.

We should chip in some cash and get the winner something pony-related, like a shirt or one of the figures, or even a good plushy if one can be found that isn't too ridiculously expensive.

Depends on how much people would be willing to donate, probably. The shirts and cheap plushies(since they're all fanmade as far as I know) usually cost $30 or so, not including shipping.

I'd love to participate, but I'm absolutely terrible at RTS games. >_>

SC2 brony tournament, one for NA one for EU. EU tournament casted by Special Endrey and TLO(because it would just be silly to have TLO actually play it!). No idea about the NA one - I actually could cast it, in fact. Depending on dates.

I'd like to throw my name into helping/attempting to organise the EU side of the tourney to the best of my ability. I suck at playing, but maybe I can help with the brackets and sign-ups or something

Also, the top 4 of each side needs to play in an Intercontinental Brony Cup afterwards

may be a simple rules helps out that only people who posted in this thread at least once are able to participate - coz i know from personal experience that as soon as some real prizes are involved. people start do sign who dont give a shit about ponys and just want some prizes no matter the what the prize actually is

i start to work on a concept now

Well, the amount of people playing will certainly increase should it include a prize, no matter what it is.

Just tell them to say who the best pony is when signing up. If they don't answer Luna, they aren't fans and obviously shouldn't participate.

So this is my first ever organized sc 2 event ( somepony can do it in my place if he really wants just pm me ) i really hope we get alteast 1 full party in both servers if nopony else wants to i guess ill be leading the EU side
BUT somepony will need to lead the NA one
we will try so there is nopony left behind not playing but ,we will have to see how many poeple show up first
what we will be doing? : well i dont know ... play sc 2? team battles ,mafia,monobattles ,some showmatches , costum maps or maby a small Bronycraft tourney ????

Urp... I'd love to try and participate in something like this, but between my job and my schoolwork I'm generally free for just a few hours on a given day. I also haven't played SC2 in months myself, although I used to be diamond league so I'm still probably in a decent position with the varied group here. And my computer cannot physically handle anything but 1v1 matches or game modes with roughly the same number of units or fewer.

I don't like the idea of a prize at first, makes it too competitive (yes I know it's a tourney).

Hope at least an EU version in addition to NA goes ahead.
