Although both Sundays are the clear favorites, the 6th saw a few more votes so we'll probably aim for that one barring any disasters. Either way, it's time to get everything ready. We'll aim to start around 11am Eastern / 3pm GMT. This is because if we start any earlier (say 9am EST), all you folks on the west coast would have to get up at like 6 in the morning. This does mean that we'll run well over midnight in Europe before this ends, but most people I've talked to say this is fine. To anyone who can't make it for whatever reason, I'm really sorry.  I've talked to a couple of people in IRC who really didn't like Sundays, or who can't stay up late enough to see its conclusion. That sucks hard, but for now this is the best I can do.I'll have a big "official" post coming up once I've finalized these plans with some of the regulars, but here's some brief info: - Unless anyone has a better suggestion, the streaming will happen on SynchTube. If you don't know, SynchTube is basically just a website that provides synchronized viewing of videos. In our case, synchronized playing of YouTube videos, namely the full episodes of FiM, for everyone in the same room. Once I set up a room for this, all you have to do is click on the link I'll be providing and you'll be watching with the rest of us. - Unless anyone has a better suggestion, we'll be chatting in #tlponies on QuakeNet for all of this. This is because the SynchTube chat rooms are pretty bad. IRC is better by miles, and if you don't have mIRC or some other IRC client, you can still reach the chat room easily from the webclient, here: http://webchat.quakenet.org/ Just pick a name and join the #tlponies chat room and you're all set. No fuss. - The prize giveaways are happening, and there will be a couple of these over the course of the marathon (again, more information later). All I will say right now is that in order to participate, you have to post your responses in this thread, not on IRC or SynchTube! So make sure you have this thread open and be ready to post quickly if you want any of the free pony swag. Also, once you post, don't edit your answer. If your post is edited it will be disqualified, so get it right the first time.  - The marathon starts at around 11am EST, but the stream/room will probably be up and playing various pony videos for at least 30 minutes before we start the first episode. - Rainbow Dash is the best pony. - "Official" post coming soon. - EDIT: Someone suggested voice chat in Vent/Teamspeak. Anyone interested in this, and if so, can anyone help set one up? | ||

I believe most of the time, people are disrespectful to those who just come and say "this is ridiculous/ how can grown men like this / you have some sort of problem", and it's kinda expected as they are the disrespectful ones. That is, I'm talking about TL.net bronies. You kinda expect people from "outside"(aka. not TL) to be like that about anything. Have you seen Naruto vs Bleach fights? Oh, in the anime world One Piece is without a doubt the best thing ever since Dragonball Z. And don't you dare talk about DBZ not being the best thing ever! Of course Death Note is a must for any anime lover, you can't not like it and the mind games in it. etcetcetc This isn't a problem exclusive to bronies, this exist everywhere and it's just that you haven't accepted it yet. I'm not saying you should like the show, nor that you should like people bitching about it, what I'm saying is that after a certain amount of time you just don't care anymore.
