Secret garden I would add: The Greatest Love - Great writing , cute story (with a lot of those lovey dovey moments that are quintessential to a good korean drama), great soundtrack, and made me laugh the most out of any drama. It also has the actress of Pasta which is in your list. Smile, You - I would reccomend this only if you have the time as it is a 45 episode drama. It's great to watch the characters actually change and develop as the story progresses. Also if you're a male, you'll definitey be infatuated with Lee Min Jung and her ditsy cuteness throughout this drama.My Princess - Really, really liked it. Kim Tae Hee became my #1 Korean actress after this All of these are RomComs. As to your list, the ones I've seen were Secret Garden, City Hunter, and Big which are all great dramas to watch. Secret Garden is my personal #1 because it was exceptional in every aspect and I really recommend it to anyone looking to watch a fantastic drama.
Seconded, Quoted and slightly modified for accuracy.

oh man the uncle character in big is so great ahahaha
|
Which one do you mean, the greedy uncle of Kyung Joon whos after his money or Da Ran's father? If you mean her father I agree with you, lol I watched BIG right after Rooftop prince and it's so funny seeing him transitioning from a greedy bastard of a businessman into an hilarious but terrifying dad.
Yuhu Monday, means watching BIG on viki in aprox 3 hours yay.

anybody know when gentlemens dignity comes on usually? waited a week for ep 11 then ep 12 was already up as well o-o

it airs saturday and sunday afaik so sunday and monday, available on viki, a few hours max one day later on sites like kimchidrama.
Although its inconvenient setting up proxy etc to watch on viki I like it because it''s just one part and I dont have to stand up from my bed haha. Reading comments of pms women and "OMG SHES SO FUGLY" about the female antagonist is always amusing and helps to get over the broing parts haha.
@JoeSchmoe
Iris, Athena, Ghost ( Ongoing) are the ones coming to my head.

Iris, Athena, Ghost ( Ongoing) are the ones coming to my head. I usually turn the comments off but there's sometimes useful information there, like translations of text that subbers don't cover, or interesting tidbits about the actors/actresses

I still don't understand the hype for sg. I mean hyun bin showed off some terrific acting and was really convincing on his role, but the rest of the actors/actresses and the plot itself fell kinda flat. maybe I'm biased because I have a strong dislike for hjw.

Secret garden >Gentlemen's Dignity is kind of a modern, mature take on original Boys over Flowers. way more fun to watch, though I'd say on par with the Taiwanese version (meteor garden), which is saying a lot because I found it way more appealing than the Korean version >49 days is really good. really long but man, what a rollercoaster of emotions. >I hate to say this, but the ditzy character lmj plays in Big is really starting to irk me. aegyo can only carry you so far. >Ghost isn't your traditional romance-infused drama; it's more a mystery thriller. more plot twists than I can remember. >Never watched pasta. >I remember keeping up with City Hunter as it came out week by week, literally killed me with those fucking cliffhangers. Good thriller with romance; chemistry between pmy and lmh carries the character development. >Coffee House had plotholes fucking everywhere and terrible screenwriting but it was a really fun drama to watch and it really grew on me. Usually I hate these type of dramas but Kang JiHwan is a hilarious actor and the chemistry between the rest of the cast was too cohesive for me to hate on. >MGIAG is a fun rocom to watch, the hong sisters never disappoint. Oddly I'd say I liked Shin MinAh the best in this, whoever the casting director was really did a great job picking her for the role. I'd like to reiterate my growing dislike for lsg here, his one dimensional character reminds me of hjw too much. >See above for SG.

Watched like half of these and honestly i think 49 days was my favorite, alot better than people say.
My girlfriend and secret garden are both hugely overrated, especially secret garden where half of the characters are unbearably annoying(Although thats pretty much a given in kdramas i guess..)

Bah in A gentleman's dignity I can't stand Im Me Ah Ri when she cries, she tries so hard to cry when she's with Yoon.
|
I have no clue how Big is going to end. Most of shows like this are pretty predictable, but assuming all of the main characters including Yoon Jae are alive at the end, I have no idea how they are gonna pull this one off. I really think someone has to die for it to work.
