His facial expression are spot on and you can tell he is playing 2 different characters. Makes me want to re-watch coffee prince again just to watch him! lol How big of a part does suzy have in that drama? :D suzy is such a terrible actress I literally cringe every time she's on screen

Suzy fits perfectly in a trashy comedy drama like Big. No idea why you think she is bad in this role. Improved a hell of a lot since DH.

a gentlemens dignity is amazingly refreshing, all the characters are really strong. it is soooooooooo nice to see the people actually talk to each other. I now standardize everything against fashion king where there were more moments of awkward silence than actual dialogue
|
It's drunkards talking to drunkards, ofcourse there are no actual dialogue ^^ Meh.
Watching Three Kingdom 2010 (16/95) now so it's gonna be a while before I pick up Big and/or GD. Hopefully the timing is right and I'll be able to finish it right on time Finished school so I have some time.

Ghost is a nice drama... Very action packed and mystery-ish.

I just started watching kdrama this season with Ghost, Big, and Gent's dignity, and I was wondering what some of the good shows from past years are. I don't really have a preference when it comes to genre, so I'm open to all suggestions

Some of the kdramas that I watched: You're Beautiful, Midas, Rooftop Prince, Secret Garden, IRIS, Gumiho, City Hunter, Miss Ripley, History of the Salaryman, etc ... I cant remember the rest for now.
They range from decent to top dramas. Google them for the genre of each.

I want to watch Midas, but I went to dramawiki to see what it's about before I watched it and it just says this: A business drama about mergers and acquisitions between companies. Is it more worth to watch than what the description says?

If you like eye candy, there is a lot in the drama. It gets rather dull in the latter half of the series because I questioned the plot as well as the character development. Far too many characters. I stopped watching around after episode 12. However, the dynamic between Do Hyun and In Hye had me in. I only watched the drama for Jang Hyuk who is lead.

Japanese Drama - 1 Litre of Tears
Hands down saddest drama ever.
|
How about films? A moment to remember, a millionaire's first love and Sad movie all spring to mind. I'm sure I will think of more, so will update.
Not come across a drama series that was sad consistently, though most have a bit of it thrown in. Probably because I avoid the ones that people flag as weepfests.

excellent sad drama is stairway to heaven.
