Gus swallowing a strange pill before the meeting. Mike saying "I promise you this, either we're all leaving here or none of us are." Don Eladio waiting for Gus to drink first before he did. I was watching who drank and saw the one guy that didn't drink and knew Mike was going to have to deal with him.

Mike was about to shoot Jesse in the back when he was shot. 3 shots showing Mike about to shoot Jesse.

Great episode overall. Really have to hand it to the show and its writers considering their budget was cut and they still just get better and better. edit: Also those shots don't really make sense could just be Mike turning around when he heard some movement. Guns were already drawn and even if they wanted to kill Jesse why would you cut your team 1 man short before you've reached safety. Clearly moves Gus/Mike make are calculated.

Saw it coming for awhile, but this adds now to the fact that Gus and Mike will owe their life to Jesse now and forgive both Jesse and Walter and let them work in the lab without worries now that Jesse proves his worth and Walter only really has Hank that hinder Gus's trust in Walter. if someone owes someone his life, its actually jesse oweing gus. afterall, gus put himself in danger with this stunt, while he could just have sold jesse and be done with it. it doesnt matter if it was just a personal vendetta of gus or business related, in the end gus safed jesse, not the other way around

He then looks to the left 90 degrees while still pointing the gun at Jesse but is shot before he has a chance to respond. He -jerks- to the left, an unnatural movement, as if caught by surprise. Rather than lifting his gun to point at the gun man. If you look at the lighting and the reflection of the gun you can much easier see the direction it's pointing in the 2nd frame of that picture. The 3rd frame shows him after he was shot/jerked almost 90 degrees to the left and his arm is following slower than his body moved. Why wouldn't they kill Jesse? He's no longer needed. They needed him to cook the meth and to help escape to the car. Once that's all done, they don't need him any longer. They could just tell Walt that "complications" came up, Walt was already thinking Jesse betrayed him - which may have been planned as Walt suspected when they first took Jesse under their wing. edit: The direction of the gun man is evidenced by how Mike is shot/falls against the car and most importantly the many seconds of Jesse firing after having turned more than 90 degrees(as the gun man was running towards their left as soon as he exited the door which is where he first shot from.) Animated GIF of Mike aiming at Jesse.

He didn't really have much of a life where he was, and Don Eladio looked like a guy who would give him pretty much whatever he wants, as long as he keeps cooking meth for him. Other than not seeing Walter anymore, and having to learn spanish, his life wouldn't be so different.

Also, clearly, Mikes gun was about to travel much further to aim at the guy that shot him.

Otherwise, he could have let jesse drink that alcohol, and they would have been rid of him then and there.

I mean why bother preventing Jesse from drinking that if they were going to plan on killing him anyways? Maybe just so they have a cleaner escape? More I look at that scene the more I believe that Mike was actually pulling the gun on Jesse (what other reason would he have to pull the gun up?. Cant believe I missed that the first time around

I'm guessing it's going to be the season finale and then they will sort the whole Hank situation next season.

But I'm pretty sure you can't just kill a bunch of people and expect the Cartel to be done. If that was the case, there wouldn't be such a war right now. Maybe the Cartel will live on but the new leader will no longer have a problem with Gus? Who knows.

Seems like all of the top brass were killed, this should at least guarantee there wont be immediate repercussions due to power struggle.

Maybe the Cartel will live on but the new leader will no longer have a problem with Gus? Who knows. Walt had just seen the doctor's two episodes ago and they told him he was still in remission. I highly doubt it'd be cancer. For the ending though, what if both Mike and Gus die? I couldn't see Jesse taking over, but I wouldn't be entirely surprised if he tried. Still unlikely though. I think Walt will just go back to living a normal life, or try.
