Voiceover by Jezza himself as far as I'm aware. Rumors has it he did one last voiceover for free to finish the season.

Funniest part is, they asked Clarkson to come back and host season 23 but he told them to get fucked because the executive called him "like Jimmy Saville" back when all this story blew up over the fight. Clarkson Hammond and May will be on Netflix/ITV in the winter is my guess.

Well im getting a netflix sub! Rumor has it again in articles though that the first episode will not be out until March 2016 which is a shame but still a fully self produced Top Gear to do whatever they want...damn it's going to be good!

Is anything known about the concept of this new series or rather about how it's going to work out with the BBC holding the rights to the format?

There won't be any problems making a competitor for TG unless they start borrowing central elements like the Stig. If that was the case then Fifth Gear or any of the other similar shows wouldn't exist. We don't know anything about the concept yet.

I'm aware that there isn't going to be a problem just because they make a car show, but Top Gear has been a fairly distinctive concept.` Apart from the copyrighted/clear bits like the Stig, the track and maybe the star in a reasonably priced car, the concept of the show is still three presenters participating in weird challenges/races and testing cars in a very unique fashion. So if they just make a show where they essentially do the same thing, without the stuff that clearly belongs the BBC, isn't it still copyright infringement because it is too close the concept of the BBC show?
