All the kids they casted are freaking amazing. But yeah. Sophie Turner is especially good. For example when she looks embarrassed, I could swear she is blushing for real lol.

Asha is lean and long-legged, with short black hair and a sharp nose in a thin face. She's supposed to be rather attractive as well as a fierce and agile fighter (as seen in ADwD during the deepwood motte battle). The actress they picked is mediocre looking at best, doesn't look very fit at all and can't seem to pull off the smugness of the role.

It's not perfect; some scenes like Theon's seawater baptism could have been done better (a proper drowning to emphasize "What is dead may never die"). But mostly they are doing a great job at explaining situations and characters, such as the Loras/Renly/Margaery triangle.

Kept expecting them to cut to Daenarys but makes sense that they don't, draw out her time in the desert a bit, I hope they still end up stopping in the deserted city. Not a huge fan of Arya getting the idea for her little prayer from Yoren, or did I just forget that part of the book. Found these amusing a bit ago might as well post em. I'm not sure if it would be appropriate for the other thread, but we have been introduced to the ironborn now. + Show Spoiler [Release the Kraken] + One for the Targaryen's a bit different. + Show Spoiler [Proud to Be a Targaryen] + random nonsense. + Show Spoiler [What If Game of Thrones Had Lyrics?] +

Some scenes where they were important in (Bran thinking about his wolf dreams, talking about magic with Luwin) were done without them. I think we can suspect that they wont appear this season. Personally I dont care too much, as I believe reducing the number of characters makes sense with the TV format.

Also, I know it's early on, but the way they are portraying Robb as someone sort of super amazing always-right guy is going to screw them over so bad when they have to kill him off.

^^I'm more pissed about no Tullys. Also, I know it's early on, but the way they are portraying Robb as someone sort of super amazing always-right guy is going to screw them over so bad when they have to kill him off. Maybe they won't kill him off, wouldn't that be a twist. Just kidding of course he's gonna bite it.

No Blackfish is a big disappointment. I have a feeling he will be important in the next two books GRRM writes. Speaking of important characters not in the TV series, WHERE ARE THE REEDS?

Either they add the Jojen's next season (somehow meet in a burned down Winterfell?) or Bran finds his motivation through the dreams and embarks with only Hodor and Summer. I don't think I would find Bran's quest very interesting if his character interactions are limited to only mainly Hodor.

By not adding him that motivation has to come somewhere else. It would be weird to have Osha go with Rickon as that would cut out the whole Davos to Skagos storyline later. Having Maester Luwen go sort of goes against his character and wouldn't develop Bran's greenseer ability. Most changes from the book make the series _more_ watchable for me. Cutting of the Reeds is one of these changes.

As much as I love the Reeds, I think Osha is a natural fit for Bran's journey. Bran needs to go north of the wall, and she's a wildling.. Yeah, except who's gonna go with Rickon? He ain't leaving by himself.
