Could be Margery but I think it is pointing to Dany being the one to cast her down. I'm willing to bet she sticks around Kings Landing (with her last remaining son , and king) Even more so after the death of her uncle. Maybe that will light another fire under her ass. Agreed, my thought it that she'll triumph over margery in the end and think she's beaten the proph, then dany will sweep in and destroy her. As much as I hate her, I enjoy watching her make a fool of herself while she tries to play the game of thrones, but really has no idea how. Blind bumbling around at this point...

I don't think there was any confirmation in the book, but weren't we all thinking it? The Rainbow Guard? I was really surprised seeing this in the TV show and I can't remember reading anything about it It's subtly hinted in GoT and ACoK, but it is made explicit in ASoS when Jaime is talking with Loras.

I mean seriously, the Rainbow Guard, lol. But my favorite posts were from readers that were outraged that the TV writers would make Renly gay, and that they should be true to the book. I wonder if they are going to keep the rainbow guard in the show. It might be a little too over the top. Not like they need subtle hints to them being gay when they have on-screen gay scenes.

Lol, just now read through your link, yea those are the lines I was thinking of heh. >.<

The word you are looking for is ''alude'' ''alusion''

My greatest hope is that in book 7 everything has aged forward 20 years and Rickon returns to conquer westeros. Rickon... never forget:

It's the longest and imo the best book in the series and brushing over some of the events would be a travesty. Where would you suggest they split the book if they did 2 seasons? I think extended series are more likely, but maybe they do multiple season to allow G.R.R.M more time to finish up the series before they catch up with the books.

Dany seems too obvious of a choice, I thought Dany at first as well but after thinking about it I'd bet it's Sansa. It always comes up how beautiful Sansa is, and especially after everything she(Sansa) has been through it would be poetic justice for her to overthrow Cersei

On Monday once the season two premiere numbers are in they should green light it. I think they are shooting season 3 and 4 simultaneously, like LOTRs.
