I think Jon will get stabbed earlier and I don't expect to see Catelyn in this season at all. I just noticed they're casting a Show nested quote +Priestess. Mid-20’s to early 30’s. Any ethnicity- she’s beautiful, intense, and magnetic. Could it mean it's the priestess (septa Lemore) that helped Connington and Aegon? I was pretty sure Connigton is cut after Mormont caught Greyscale I find it extremly unlikely that it's Lemore's cast note.
My shot in the dark would be, that it's a character introduced in the 6th or 7th book, possibly from Ashai... You know the whole "to reach the light, one must pass beneath the Shadow"...
Cant source this one, but iirc GRRM kinda hinted back then, that he wanted Danny to go to Asshai, but not sure he will write it that way after all, so this might be a middle-ground kindof situation, Asshai coming to danny.

GRRM confirmed that the series won't see Asshai, except possibly in flashback (of course that doesn't mean the show won't, but it seems unlikely). Moreover the "to reach the light, one must pass beneath the shadow" wasn't mentioned in the show iirc. In fact, Quaithe never spoke directly to Dany in the show. She only spoke to Jorah.

What is the reasoning behind of Littlefinger handing Sansa over to the Boltons? The whole plot of Sansa atm is so bad and pointless.

I really like the Sansa plot. Littlefingers point is to keep options open. If the Boltons defeat Stannis he has a very powerful ally with them.

It's so that book readers can no longer act coy in knowing what's going to happen.

It combines Littlefinger's play for the North (Sansa) with the Bolton's play for the north (Faux Arya / Jeyne Poole) into one plotline.

Oh yeah? I can still be hopeful that Theon finally finds some courage and escapes to join Stannis with Sansa.

Ohh man.. The Jon Snow 'death' has to happen now this season. Reading all over the place and hearing tons of people talking about how awesome, cool and great a leader he is. When he gets ganked by his brothers, the tears that will flow might flood the world, it will be glorious!

At last a great episode in this season. That's how they should do when deviating from the books!

Honestly I know like 5 people who said they would quit watching if Jon Died. Hahaha i cant wait for the tears.

That episode was way too good to be part of season 5.
I'm not usually in favor of reminders, but something about Longclaw as valyrian steel might have been warranted before that.

The conversation between Sam and Olly takes on a more sinister dimension when you know for the watch is coming. There's going to be a blade in his hand.

As someone mentioned, you can never go wrong with zombies :D Great episode.

holy fucking shit...that was awesome!
Especially given that I had no clue whatsoever it was coming :O
Didn't think one of the best eps in the series would be in season 5.

Sam's advice to Olly is a great double entendre for readers, and then they layered it with the "he always comes back" bit at the end. Cool scene, yet handily not the best of the episode. Dany and Tyrion or pre-fight Hardhome were where it really shined.

Sam and Olly scene was like that wildling woman sending her daugthers on boat and telling them she will come don't they worry.

This was actually a good episode. I was first turned off when it seemed all the Wights were like skeletal...but that was just the older stock, seeing that reanimation...oh shit!
The Valyrian steel / dragonsteel might be a bit hard to spot for a viewer only though.
Tyrion already in talks with Dany is weird as hell, but hopefully it makes the painful slog that is Meereen plot a bit faster.

My body wasn't ready. That was fucking amazing.
