+ Show Spoiler + Jojen paste is irrelevant I suppose, Bran is gonna be doing nothing for 2 seasons, Khaleesi scenes were solid emotionally, jaime + tyrion are both perfect, no tysha = interesting, GET HYPE CLEGANE BOWL is still alive, and it'll be interesting to see how this interaction between arya and brienne affects un-cat and brienne's encounter (assuming it happens)

+ Show Spoiler + Didn't very much appreciate how they weakened the Stannis scene, it didn't feel like they were fighting an epic battle. The Dany part was alright and it followed the novels well enough so kudos there. Felt kinda bad for the dragons because they won't see mommy for a while. The Arya + Brienne scene, ehhh, don't know why they had to combine the two when they had time for Brienne in the next season. Tyrion's escape I wished had more talking between Jaime because the brotherly relationship I felt added a lot of character to both, but oh boy, replacing Tysha with Shae weakened the scene with Tywin. And as for the Tywin scene itself, I knew it was coming but even with that it didn't feel very powerful for the climax of ASOS to me. The final Arya scene was really solid though.

I thought everything else was really well done, interested to see the change with Brienne knowing about Arya when she meets Lady Stone Heart. And sad they left Lady Stone Heart out. The Tyrion stuff wasn't perfect, it was still great IMO but it did lack some of the power behind that scene, cutting out the talk with him and Jaimie and nothing about Tysha etc. really hurt the ending power of it. But I still thought it was a great scene.

If they followed the books more closely I think it would have greatly improved the scenes. I had dreamed of how perfectly the Tyrion + Tywin scene could have went. Tyrion shoots Tywin, Tywin gives him an absolutely incredulous look, gasping, "You shot me" and slowly passes while Tyrion turns. Then you hear some flatulence and Tywin turns towards the privy while wrinkling his nose and grimacing. Then he says, "And in the end, Tywin Lannister did not shit gold".

I though everything else was great, though. I can see why the producers thought this was the best show they'd ever done. Hound vs Brienne was insane, Maisie Williams killed it in the Hound's "death" scene, and Jojen dying caught me by surprise. I kinda figured he was dead in the book, but seeing him get Talisa'd like that was a bit of a shock. I cannot decide if that confirms or debunks Jojenpaste, though. Edit: Also seems like they're using Shae to take Tysha's place.
